Hotel Schwan in Eschweiler

Poorly Managed, not as shown in pictures, not at all

No lifts / No elevators, they will tell this at the time of check in and then you have to carry your luggage for 2 floors

We went there for a day (as other options were full), went to actual hotel as per location. Man present there told us to go some other place, one of my friend went there, receptionist asked him to collect keys, we carried our luggage to this place and then receptionist told us to take keys to go back to original place. This was so irritating, both of them could have simply informed us about actual procedure but they did not.

No one was there to help us, we carried our luggage for 2 floors on creepy spiral wooden staircase. No water given, no toilets in a room, they have shared toilets

They see free WiFI but it was not working for a minute, they have TV set but no international channels on it

It was a waste of money

low price and internet works, but hole house uneven, steep stairs only usuable with hand rail. Front door not closed and not monitored hence not safe. Room only one socket. \did not trust the shower - only one for 10 rooms. The shower also is the toilet. This hotel is managed by another hotel, and it is there you need to park which claims to be rated 8.2. This is more a 2.8...

It was disaster
I called them to tell them i will be late and they told me dont worry and when i arrived they were closed and they didnt answer by telephone or email
They let me out in the streets and then i went to another hotel

Total disgrace. Booked for a night, told them I'd arrive late. Confirmed via email (attached) but on arrival at 2320 there was nothing. No answer to the phone, no answer to the bell, no answer to email, the sign in the window pointed me to another closed-for-the-night hotel. Ended up sleeping in the car as all of Aachen was fully booked - I've never had that happen to me before.

Directly next to a highway, quick to reach. For everyone, the whole night.. Overpriced but friendly, badroom on floor for everyone. Some edges needed/have to be renovate
