We had a lovely week at Dormio Eifeler Tor. The park itself is well maintained, has a nice pool to cool off on hotter days and also a good selection of bakery items / coffee to go for the mornings, making for a comfortable stay. Great resort on the outskirts of Heimbach, with an amazing view over Hasenfeld village. Great base for cyclist ready to do some climbing (❤️ climbs to Mariawald, Schmidt, and Kermeter). The resort is very kid friendly, which, unfortunately, led us to wake up every morning around 5 AM due to crying babies 🤣. Supermarket on premises was OK, better to go to supermarkets in Hasenfeld.

The location ist very nice. A big downside for families with kids is that many guests park their cars all day and night in front of the guest houses, although this is officially not allowed. But there seems to be no enforcement of car parking rules, thus nobody makes sure, that cars stop at the houses only for un/loading and are driven to the big parking space across the road.

We were in room 9. There was light in one other room. The hotel was virtually empty and in many respects run down and un kempt. The closet to hang your coat, was too small. I loved staying here! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very friendly. We had breakfast at the hotel. The owner provided lots of different options for breakfast and it was very delicious.

We were kind skeptical due to all the bad reviews, but decided to give it a go. We were very surprised. Yes, the rooms are a bit old (and so is the hotel), but it a was very clean and comfortable. The hotel owner is extremely kind and helpful. No bad words for that man at all. The location is amazing. I would recommend it.

I stayed here for one night. It is advantageous in the sense that it is close to all touristic areas (by car). I enjoyed the balcony especially in the morning! The receptionist guy was very nice and informative.

A small hotel in the village. Rooms quite large and comfortable with a balcony. Although the hotel is not new, it is kept clean and the rooms refreshed. There is free WiFi, You can buy the possibility of using a small cramped kitchen max for 3 people. Internal parking for 10-15 cars.

Owners are very nice and helpful. Room had bathroom with shower, balcony and free wi-fi. All clean. Breakfast was awesome as well.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The sauna was amazing and the bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. We especially loved the buffet breakfast and dining area. We had stayed for 4 nights at Pension Haus Diefenbach. It was easy to find and very dog-friendly (the dog even got treats and there are bowls in the room).
