Nice stay Quite a large hotel tucked away in the residential area. Large and spacious hotel. The room was average. Nothing special, but I have no complaints. It’s located quite close to the airport so it was convenient for me to stay here the night before flying out. If you have a car, that is.

I spent one night there, the room was very clean and well-kept and the breakfast buffet was delicious and there was plenty of choice. There is also plenty of parking available and it is free. I would definitely go back!

Early 10.00 check out The size of the swimming pool is sufficient for length swimming. Unfortunately the sauna was out of service. The buffet breakfast was substantial, but closed at 09.30 with the check out time at 10.00

Clean room, nice staff and a lot of amenities for the price. Beds were comfy, bathroom was very clean. There was even a kitchenette which surprised us! Would recommend staying here if you have a car and looking for a weekend in Keulen.

Very easily accessible from a traffic point of view. Super super clean and like new. We felt very comfortable. Gladly again at any time.

We only stayed one night. We arrived before 4 p.m. The reception was not manned, we called and after 2 minutes we were able to check in. That was perfect. We had a family room. Many star hotels should take an example. Beautiful room, size exactly perfect, clean. Really, very, very beautiful. We will book here again next time.

My to go place for early flight departures from Cologne airport. Has everything that you expect when staying at a Moxy. Nice rooftop terrace with bar and restaurant and view over the airport. Just 5 minutes walking from Terminal 1.

I love to stay here after late inbound flight

The hotel is located inside the airport, which results in daily parking fees that are quite high—almost half the cost of the room. Also, because it’s close to the airport, you can still hear the sound of planes taking off and landing. However, overall, it’s quite clean. The only other drawback is that it’s relatively far from the city center. All in all, it’s still pretty good.

The hotel is right at the airport, so the location is perfect. Even it’s at the airport, the room was quiet and good to sleep in. Can recommend it for a night to stay over.

The hotel is located minutes from the airport and they provide a free shuttle. All driver and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are simple, but everything you need for an overnight business stay; clean & quiet room, clean bathroom, air conditioner, work desk, wifi and a nice view from my room of the airport.

Excellent location next to the airport. Friendly staff, present 24h. Clean rooms. Pain point: the phonic isolation. Airplanes and even neighbors can be heard via the windows. I would recommand the hotel to take actions on this - it can become quite a problem.

Very adequate for if you've an early flight the next morning/ have landed late at night. Is a short walk (no more than 15 mins) on either a path/dodgy looking fort pavement. Easy access to the train to koln/bonn too

Really nice and friendly staff. We stranded there because our flight was cancelled, we were pretty angry at the airline, but they made us feel comfortable and we had a short, but great night. Totally recommend it! Giid place to stay, very near to the airport.

Easy quick stay but no AC and very noisy in the mornings for airport travel. Beds are comfortable and rooms are of great size. Staff was friendly and welcoming and we're very accommodating for a overnight check-in after 1am on short notice.

Unfortunately couldn't try the breakfast, although it was available from 5 am. Carpets had a funny watermelon design and the rooms we're quite comfortable just like the bed. Bathroom was adequate. All in all perfect for the night before a flight at Cologne-Bonn.

Great experience and choice for people/ couples in love, it is a bit noisy on the street, but above all comfortable refurnished - the terrace is very sunny in the morning, where you might enjoy breakfast. A really good bakery is reachable in only a few minutes in walking distance.

The owner was very nice and helpful, but the accommodation was a bit dirty, with lots of cobwebs, a hose from the sink downstairs coming off, and a flood. OK for a short break, but not so suitable for a longer stay. The price/performance ratio wasn't exactly justified.

A good place to enjoy the evening in a relaxed good Piedmontese cuisine. A very attentive and personal Service round off the facilities on offer. Definitely recommended.

Very friendly service, extremely tasty food. The Linguini in a lemon cream sauce were perfectly matched with the warm weather and super. Just the right dose of lemon. The chocolate cake for dessert was a true dream.

Now called Piamontheka, it is a good place to meet with friends. We did a brunch. The food tasted delicious and the service taked care very well. Only a little bit more space would be better. Overall I recommand this place!

I never miss a stay at this hotel, which, in addition to being less than 2 km from the airport, is also a welcoming and relaxing place. We paid attention to the details of the furnishings, with a high-quality breakfast, and two attentive and very kind managers. The price couldn't be lower.

It's very remote, in a residential area, very quiet. Basically it is a low-cost operation. The facilities are very old. It was supposed to be relatively close to the airport, but road construction has made traveling less convenient. Fortunately it's cheap

Seems to be family-owned small hotel. Despite of the name, restaurant didn't work. Nice lobby but the room is below average even for 3*. Don't see any single reason for 4* for this place. Breakfast is extra but okay. Overall, okay for quick overnight stay but certainly no more.

Funny decent hotel at quiet convenient location

Good location - 2 minutes walk to ubahn and 20 minutes by traon to the city centre then. Reasonable breakfast. Close to the airport too. Beware of a big dog though.

Near the airport: the boarding gates of the airport are at 30/40 minutes walking distance. No air conditioning so my room was hot with outside air temperature at almost 30 degrees C.

Very friendly and welcoming. My room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. A taxi into the airport cost about €12, so offers a great value alternative to airport hotels. Plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and a 15 minute walk from the nearest rail station.

The host is very friendly and welcoming, there's a free parking right at the entrance, the breakfast was generous and there's a bus station for transportation towards the Old Town right across the street.

This hotel is located in a nice place and run by an amazing landlady herself. You won’t feel like living in a hotel but at home. Foods are fresh and the owner lady makes the breakfast herself and it’s worth it.

More like a personalized BnB with comfy hotel-like rooms. Highly recommend staying here. The owner was very accomodating and has a great philosophy, let me check into my room as soon as it was ready around 10am, gave a great overview of the area and then cooked me a personalized breakfast. Individually decorated room in the style of the artist Miro. It was very well furnished and spotlessly clean. The late check-in arrangement worked very well. We didn’t sample breakfast as we had to leave early to catch a train. We would not hesitate to stay at the Malerwinkel again.

One of my best stay! Very clean and everyone was very friendly! The Director of the hotel checked with us everyday is everything was ok and if anything was needed. Staff were extremely helpful even though I misread my itinerary.

Hosts were great, room was clean and well taken care of. Building is older but maintained well. Breakfast and service was friendly, helpful and very good!

It was so hot that I couldn't sleep all night.

The hotel was a new concept SMARTY hotel, simple and clean. At first, the space between rooms was like a maze, but I soon got used to it. The toiletries in the bathroom and the room were all necessary and well-organized. When Asians stay in the winter, they need to have the sense to ask for an extra blanket. The manager, who is from Ukraine, was very kind and resolved the guests' concerns well.

Great overall, loved the remote check in, there was a lot of road noise and the corridor very echoey when people were talking but still managed a good sleep. Well equipped room and an easy 35 minute walk to the airport ( 4am walk was pleasant enough for anyone struggling with the lack of public transport at that time of the morning )

The ceilings in the room were very high. The mattresses on the beds were very thick. I slept well. The chocolates in the room were delicious. The front desk staff were also very friendly. Since we were renting a car, the entrance and exit to the parking lot felt a little narrow.

It's a bit old, but that's the atmosphere of the castle hotel. It's nice to experience it. The restaurant and bar at night are also very good. The restaurant service is very good. The guy can speak a few words of Chinese, which is a plus.

Wald-Hotel is a run by very friendly family. And the hosts were really kind and helpful. They speak english well.The hotel is near to train station and it takes around 15-20 minutes to Bonn by train and 30minutes to Cologne. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was by buffet and right next to hotel they have Chinese restaurant. I really liked the this hotel was surrounded by trees.

This Wald-Hotel is a family-run, and very family-friendly, B&B near the airport in Cologne. The owners speak English, they have a great playground/ back yard for the kids, and the breakfast is excellent. Although just a short drive from the airport, the hotel is located in the forrest (-->Wald) with hiking trails running off in every direction. I recommend this hotel for anyone traveling on a budget...

I traveled alone, the small room is good for 1-2 nights, but longer term I advise take take the bigger room. I appreciate for the dedicated EV charger, 22kW 2 stands, for fee but parking is free. Breakfast is buffet, coffee is good.
