Positive - Central location - Comfortable bed Negative - Strange smell - Narrow elevator

The room is very small, smaller than description, the heating is not like the rest of the high-end hotels, but heating under the window, there is no phone to call the reception, I had to use my phone and search for the hotel number through Google and then wait for the autoresponder, to ask them a question The fan has a thick dust on it, it hasn't been cleaned in a while

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities in the room. The only downside was with the windows open we heard a lot of traffic noise . Room needed air conditioning as when we were there the temperature was 30 degrees - but there was an electric fan in the room.

Very good location: 30min away from Cologne by car, in the middle of the mountains and near a beautiful lake. It's the perfect place to escape from the city from a weekend and enjoy the beauty of nature... Plus, the staff is very nice and the breakfast (a buffet) is very good. My room was comfy and extremely clean, and I loved the view on the garden. I highly recommend!

Nice place in a refurbished countryside Manor. The restaurant is highly recommended. However rooms are scattered in the forest: I needed a car ride to reach my room from the reception!

Small hotel but very nice and super clean room! We enjoyed our two day stay.

Our stay at "Zum Schwanen" was amazing! The huge free parking just a few steps away on Schwanenplatz was a great convenience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and Christian went above and beyond, accommodating our special requests and providing extra storage for our equipment. Super nice guy and great chef!

My stay was great. Good room, service, rates and location (spend a few days doing meetings in Cologne and region). Surely will consider for future trips.

The hotel is conveniently located, there are many restaurants and shops nearby and easy to reach on foot. The rooms are spacious and practical in terms of space. The rooms are not cleaned every day. The elevator does not work properly and therefore takes a long time. You have to wait a long time at reception until someone comes. There were not enough staff to sort out the payment the evening before

Convenient place to stay in the centre of Wermelskirchen. Good breakfast buffet !

Very nice hotel, I’ve stayed there before. On my way up from a night in France I longed for eating in the very good restaurant, only to find out that it was closed on Mondays. Very bad, it is absolutely necessary if information says the hotel has a restaurant also to inform if it is closed one day a week, in this case Monday.

The room was clean and comfortable.

1. Air conditioned, clean rooms, comfortable beds and in a great location. 2. The staff is friendly, but keep in mind that most speak German outside of the reception. 3. If arriving late, read the given instructions carefully! 4. There are two parking zones with plenty of parking space, one for the hotel guests, and one for the park visitors and rest stop users. The gas station below is open 2...

Clean large rooms, friendly staff who were super helpful and gave us a free room upgrade out of pure thoughtfulness, and a beautiful view of the lake in the forest next to the hotel. Great price, well worth the stay!

Great beds with easy acces to the freway It was a nice stay and easy acces to the freeway. But unfortunately they were down with staff, so the waiting for food, payment and check inn was long. The room was big and great beds. But the cleaning could have been better. There where dust and spiderweb in the corner, the curtain was brooken and the stairway was also full of spiderweb and dust. The breakfast...

We were there with 15 men, everything was perfect. High level and very good food. The service was excellent. We can recommend it, especially for smaller groups! THANKS
