For business travelers, the rooms are spacious and bright, the service is excellent, and the restaurant downstairs offers authentic German cuisine and beer.

Positive - Central location - Comfortable bed Negative - Strange smell - Narrow elevator

The room is very small, smaller than description, the heating is not like the rest of the high-end hotels, but heating under the window, there is no phone to call the reception, I had to use my phone and search for the hotel number through Google and then wait for the autoresponder, to ask them a question The fan has a thick dust on it, it hasn't been cleaned in a while

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities in the room. The only downside was with the windows open we heard a lot of traffic noise . Room needed air conditioning as when we were there the temperature was 30 degrees - but there was an electric fan in the room.

Great hotel in the heart of Remscheid The reception was a bit difficult to find

Just super, the food and the room you have to finally move in a bathroom where the shower and the stomach. The staff is always happy to return.

Always perfect. Service at a great level. Employees are always friendly and helpful. The best restaurant I've experienced in this area. Quality of the food is exceptional.

Small hotel but very nice and super clean room! We enjoyed our two day stay.

Our stay at "Zum Schwanen" was amazing! The huge free parking just a few steps away on Schwanenplatz was a great convenience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and Christian went above and beyond, accommodating our special requests and providing extra storage for our equipment. Super nice guy and great chef!

My stay was great. Good room, service, rates and location (spend a few days doing meetings in Cologne and region). Surely will consider for future trips.

This property was absolutely wonderful, out in the country with space between each house to go for a great walk but still feel safe. Woke up to a bit of fog coverage which just added to the ambiance. Only downfall was it was a bit difficult to find the reception office to check in. Breakfast buffet had so many options, and the staff was very friendly.

Very good location: 30min away from Cologne by car, in the middle of the mountains and near a beautiful lake. It's the perfect place to escape from the city from a weekend and enjoy the beauty of nature... Plus, the staff is very nice and the breakfast (a buffet) is very good. My room was comfy and extremely clean, and I loved the view on the garden. I highly recommend!

Nice place in a refurbished countryside Manor. The restaurant is highly recommended. However rooms are scattered in the forest: I needed a car ride to reach my room from the reception!

A warm welcome, spatious, clean, peaceful room. Restaurant with German tradition. Even a shower stool in bathroom! Watch out the slippery floor there.

Fischer is not just a great hotel but a great restaurant also. Breakfast was good enough. Rooms were clean and stuff was friendly.

I bought an extra breakfast to eat with my aunt and uncle who were staying at the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the service was great.

Stayed single at this hotel in 1989 for a month and with spouse in 1991 for two and a half months. It was like home away from home for us. Managed by women team. We were allowed to cook our own food. Had an excellent time through. Hope to visit some day again for a nostalgic experience.
