I never EVER write reviews, it's just not my thing. However, my stay and experience here was so memorable, I couldn't resist.

I backpacked through Europe back in 2015 and stayed here during my trip to the Rhine. Sybille and Stefan were very hospitable and both a treat to visit with. I heard about this place through Rick Steves' "Best of Europe" book. The room was very clean and quiet. Not to mention the breakfast was good all 3 days while I was there.

In addition, I had to order some train reservations last minute before I left the states and wouldn't be home to receive them. I emailed Sybille to see if I could send them to her; she didn't hesitate to help. Not only did she email me when they arrived, but 25 days later when I arrived, the first thing she handed me were my train tickets!

I will definitely be staying here on my next trip! I highly HIGHLY recommend staying here above anywhere else along this section of the Rhine!!

Nice owners, not too expensive, great breakfast, parking and great hiking nearby.

Owners Sybille & Stefan are great. They speak great English and are very helpful with suggestions and directions. The pension is very close to towncenter. The price is affordable and the rooms are very clean. I highly recommend this pension if you are staying Bacharach.

Good value for the money. This is a Rick Steves recommendation. The rooms are quiet and clean but the beds aren't the most comfortable. The breakfast is very nice, though, as are the hosts. Its an easy and pretty walk into Bacharach. Go in the fall during harvest to taste the federweiser and enjoy the beautiful colors of the vineyards.

This is a great place to stay and they have bikes and breakfast and it's a great price! They are super nice and I highly recommend staying here! Just don't try to bike to Koblenz (turns out its 52 miles round trip). You will feel like you're dying :P
