This is a great hotel with very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean. Water, tea, coffee etc is provided in each room. There is a seating area outside for relaxing in the evening and many local restaurants in walking distance.

This hotel is in a great location. The clerks are friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I would give it 5 stars if the double occupancy rooms weren't made up of 2 single beds.

Magnificent hotel and very good value for money

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel has good amenities. It is close to Trier's main tourist attractions, so you can get there on foot. The breakfast is also good.

Location is amazing, just across the road is Porta Nigra, on the left is the supermarket, bars and shopping street. The room is clean, towels and linen are white and shiny. There’s some mold in the bathroom, and the bed itself wasn’t comfortable. In general, it was a nice experience! I’d recommend for solo and couples as well!

Almost everything was great! Super central location, cozy hotel, and the room had a bathtub. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back.

Booked a room for a child and 2 adults- check-in we find out there is only 1 large bed no kid bed. They let us know that all rooms with 3 beds /couch are taken and rolling beds also in use. We asked if we could get the money back, he said only one room (we had booked 2 rooms for our extended family) could be reimbursed. Trier is lovely to visit. Rooms are comfortable but broken shower fixture did not get fixed and the rooms lack the amenities, such as tea and coffee facilities or a small fridge or Aircon, one might hope for from a 4* venue, which was frustrating given the price.

Hotel booked for working activities and not for tourism, accommodation is nice and the personnel are nice and kind. Had a dinner into the hotel's restaurant and taste is good despite the selection of meals. My expectations for breakfast were a bit different (not so big choice of products). we stayed above the sun terrace looking down at the bier garten. It is a nice treed setting by a creek and below vineyards. a bus stop outside takes you right to the Roman gate in old town Trier. bus 81 or bus 6 on weekdays. the reception helpful with bus info, but note return not to the same stop but dismount at oliweg entrance and follow short path to back of hotel. otherwise u r in for a long ride...

Walls are thin, and you can hear your neighbors but to be expected in old historic buildings. No a/c but a small fan in the room does the job but is noisy. The staff was extremely kind and receptive. Very nice pool and sauna for relaxation. Self serve beer from the brewery and a great price was a nice touch. Great beer as well. 30 minute walk to all the historical downtown sites. For the British visitor this hotel is a German experience in the very best sense. The rooms are spotless and decorated in a charming, homely style. The restaurant is excellent and the beer quite superb. The service is excellent and friendly. The only small snag is that it is a little away from the centre but there is a local bus service and good parking so this is a minor issue.

This is a quaint boutique hotel. The staff was generally pleasant and the hotel was clean.
