The hotel is very close to Trier's attractions, with a 'black something' landmark right outside (can't remember the name). There's also a Chinese restaurant across the street with Chinese girls working there. After all, it's Marx's hometown, and I ran into several groups of Chinese tourists.

Location is amazing, just across the road is Porta Nigra, on the left is the supermarket, bars and shopping street. The room is clean, towels and linen are white and shiny. There’s some mold in the bathroom, and the bed itself wasn’t comfortable. In general, it was a nice experience! I’d recommend for solo and couples as well!

Almost everything was great! Super central location, cozy hotel, and the room had a bathtub. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back.

The location is right next to the exit of the highway, and there are large supermarkets around. Although it is a bit far from the city center, parking is convenient. The room is large, with heating and free bottled water.

Booked a room for a child and 2 adults- check-in we find out there is only 1 large bed no kid bed. They let us know that all rooms with 3 beds /couch are taken and rolling beds also in use. Hotel booked for working activities and not for tourism, accommodation is nice and the personnel are nice and kind. Had a dinner into the hotel's restaurant and taste is good despite the selection of meals. My expectations for breakfast were a bit different (not so big choice of products). we stayed above the sun terrace looking down at the bier garten. It is a nice treed setting by a creek and below vineyards. a bus stop outside takes you right to the Roman gate in old town Trier. bus 81 or bus 6 on weekdays. the reception helpful with bus info, but note return not to the same stop but dismount at oliweg entrance and follow short path to back of hotel. otherwise u r in for a long ride...

Walls are thin, and you can hear your neighbors but to be expected in old historic buildings. No a/c but a small fan in the room does the job but is noisy. The staff was extremely kind and receptive. Very nice pool and sauna for relaxation. Self serve beer from the brewery and a great price was a nice touch. Great beer as well. 30 minute walk to all the historical downtown sites. The property was within easy walking distance to the baumwipelpfad and many wonderful hiking paths. In addition, we enjoyed the pool and sauna each day.

This beautiful hotel on the Mosel bank has multiple buildings where the rooms are lokated. We were happy to find a spacious, clean room with a nice bed and a good view of the surrounding mountains. Just got back from a 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel. The first thing to say is that the customer service could not have been better. Every staff member was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The spa facilities are gorgeous and wonderfully kept. I had two treatments, very relaxing. The food and wine was delicious. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Sat on the riverside terrace, very lovely to be fair. Took a while to get served, staff on duty went from 1 to 3 suddenly so someone came to our table. All great. There is a dense senior population. Very friendly people. If you have a kid trying to enjoy the pool, you can feel complaints. Finally you are obliged to sit at the restaurant that owner “orders” you, or else faces change. In this respect I feel a bootcamp here…

Amazing hotel. Old style luxurious hotel, everywhere you look is decoration, marble, etc. The service is polite and quick. Everything is clean, breakfast is perfect, dinner in the restaurant is a bit overpriced I feel. They have private parking spaces, a nice pool (open early morning until late night), good sauna (open 13:00-late). Recommended!

Friendly and welcoming staff, comfy rooms, great breakfast buffet and delicious dinner. We also loved the in–house swimming pool. Our little daughter was welcomed everywhere and cared for beautifully. The owner lady was on site daily and very hands on. Very nice stay!

I had the pleasure to be invited for a lunch meal last Wednesday. I had the garden salad with chanterelle mushrooms. It was very well seasoned and presented. The meals of the friends I sat with were also incredibly well presented. Unfortunately I only had lunch, but could feel the team and owners are well versed in providing honest and upmarket hospitality. Well done!!

This hotel is situated on a beautiful 3x 9 holes golf course. So, ideal to stay while playing there. The rooms are very good, the food is excellent, but the service is very bad. Especially in the restaurant where they 'throw' your meal, 'poor' your drinks and behave very unfriendly. This is a nicely designed hotel with a strong focus on golf, making it a great choice for a short golf getaway. Important - if you're driving, the am Frucktmarkt address will only get you close due to pedestrian only zones. Here we are vacationing and doing family research, feeling very comfortable and welcomed. Every one was very friendly and kind. Even though we do not speak German we all made do. The food in the restaurant and buffet served at breakfast exceeded my expectations. I strongly recommend Angel's das Hotel am Fruchtmakrt.
