The hotel is clean and comfortable, but there is no refrigerator in a room and short of parking lot.

There are parking spaces on the main road. There are McDonald's and supermarkets along the main road near the river. It takes about 2-30 minutes to walk to the city. The old city is not big. There is Marx's former residence.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the city center but quiet. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with modern and simple decoration, and first-class service. The hotel facilities are complete, and the gym and swimming pool are unforgettable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The room is cleaned once every 3 days and the used towels are then removed, so a large pile of dirty laundry on the floor, not a pleasant sight. no ventilation in the room, window can be set to a ventilation position, but if the room is at the front (street side), the noise of the traffic from the busy street is TOO TOO, the window must remain closed but there is no fresh air fine. Too few parking...

Good location - about 15 mins from town centre, roman sites closer. Hotel is very accessible if you have a car, but note limited parking. Very nice friendly staff. Good views across river. Lovely riverfront dining area. Continual free coffee and tea, and areas to work/congregate.

Check-in was done using machines, which was very difficult as we arrived very late and didn't have enough battery on our cell phones to get some information.

Cosy with nice river panorama Good location (15 mns walk to town center), river panorama at breakfast hall/terrace is awesome, convenient parking facility. Staff is very kind andhelpful. Check-in procedures could have been less detailed. Complementary coffee at reception is a nice offer but the coffee quality could be upgraded.

Very nice front desk staff gave restaurant recommendations and advice on transport. Updated bathroom was a pleasant surprise. It’s a bit of a walk on cobblestone paths if you arrive by bus or train, so keep that in mind when travelling with a heavy suitcase or multiple bags. Some rooms are accessed via a small flight of stairs and have windows that open out to a noisy alley.

Good hotel in a good location. There’s nothing too negative to write about the hotel. Garage is a bit tight but the rest is fine.

Got a room facing a side street with a bar with very noisy clientele. Managed to change room and when doing that the staff tells me that they have a lot of complaints for that room due to noise from the bar… Key code panel to open door, not very user friendly.

A great surprise I was rather surprised at how great this hotel is. It was in an unsuspecting area that was very close to the main plaza in Trier. The best part was the comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning. I had the best night's rest in a long time.

It's ok if you are staying one night and just need a place to sleep. Good location. parking is a nightmare

If you are driving only It’s near river except river is extremely boring the Roman remains are in centre which is about 2 km ! It’s an average hotel with a kettle and coffee ! It’s near Roman bridge !

Good location and a quick walk to anything within the city! The river makes for a good view as well.

For those who are traveling alone, please note that there is no 24-hour self-service check-in. You need a working email address and an international credit card. 24-hour Internet access is very important. It is not recommended for people who lack travel experience.

The hotel is very central, within walking distance from Trier's main attractions. The room was nice, not super clean but good enough to stay the night. Fair quality for the price

The hotel is great value for money. Some of the rooms appear to be undergoing renovation at the moment. My room overlooked the river, with a nice view of the old Roman bridge. It's a short but interesting walk to the hauptmarkt, Karl Marx's birthplace and museum, Trier Dom, Porta Nigra, and other sights. I'd happily stay here again.

We were our first guest today and were very satisfied. You are served attentively and unobtrusively at the same time. Food was great. Very nice boss. We will be back.

The staff welcomed us very nicely. The hotel is very lovingly and modernly furnished, the suite is very nicely decorated, you feel at home. Very quiet location, you can only recommend it!

Location is excellent. Not in the centre of Trier, but with the train 6 minutes and with the bus about 25 minutes. The public TRANSPORT goes by, no disturbance in the rooms. Modern rooms, very old. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

Very cosy, neat and clean hotel. They serve a very good breakfast buffet. It is a stone's throw from the station, parking is good and close to Trier. In what aftanse location, in the industrial terrain of Trier. But that should not spoil the fun. Good, personal and friendly service!

We stayed here to go christmas shopping in the area and have no comments. Not overly luxurious but clean hotel, friendly staff, sufficient parking, and internet that works - to spend the night and have breakfast for us!

We had an unexpected event and I asked for an early check-in as my husband had to work during the day. They were very helpful and facilitated it completely. Great breakfast.

This is a 'way above average' hotel. Why? The staff is very friendly and flexible, the rooms are clean, the beds are excellent and large, and there is a private parking that's fully surveyed by camera's. On top of that: the beautiful city center of Trier is very close, and if you need basic stuff there are 2 supermarkets, and a bakery close by. Nice and new apartment, so nothing to comment on cleanliness. It can be too warm on a summer night, but rooms have no fans and since the room was next to a busy road, it was impossible to sleep with the windows open. The location, right next to the train station and the bus station, is wonderful. Because Trier is a rather small city, everything is in walking distance. The room was perfect for my needs: it was clean, had free wifi, TV, even a free small bottle of wine. The bed was comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. A charming hotel, about twenty minutes drive from Trier centre. A tiny room, but adequate, clean, helpful proprietor. Nice breakfast. However, don't arrive before 3:00 pm in the afternoon. Free parking by the side of the road opposite.

This is for the restaurant. We were driving through looking for someplace to eat and decided to give it a try. It was decorated in traditional German decor. Our friends who live in Germany said it was authentic decore and was a traditional country style with locals eating there. Alte is unfortunately one of the keywords to this place. The room was a bit dark and the layout is not very practical with lots of steps and the room being much deeper than it's wide The location is on the wrong bank to get to other restaurants and sites. It's easy to get to from the freeway, but parking is horrible (there's space but it's bumpy and across a busy street)

The hotel meets all criteria for a pleasant stay, with comfortable beds, good breakfast and very friendly staff. Upon check-out we ran a bit later than the 11am deadline, but the reception person was totally cool about it. The rooms are clean, bathroom is properly equipped and the staff are very helpful in terms of pointing tourists to various attractions.

This hotel is quite good and reasonably priced. Good place to stay if you are in Trier. It is a little walk down hill into the town but quite a hike back up. Still, there's always taxis. 😃 The food in their restaurant is good. Staff are helpful and friendly.

One had a full kitchen which had the necessary kitchen equipment for the 7 of us to eat breakfast and lunch. There is grocery story next door. This tiny and clean hotel was situated only 5 minutes walk from the walking center. We got room from third floor (no lift), which means we have to carry our suitcases up narrow stairs. The room was quite small. The bed was located just in the corner. Shower was also quite small at least for grownups. Staff was friendly and hospitality. Breakfast was normal hotel breakfast.

Everyone is super nice and I would certainly stay here again. The rooms are large and spacious and I really feel at home. It's a little odd that you can't decide in the morning if you want breakfast. You have to decide at least 1 day in advance for good reason but when I don't know if I'll have time until the day of it stinks that I can't come downstairs and eat.
