We stayed in Ernst with our motorhome and ate in Pullmans twice. The food is excellent and the restaurant and staff dog friendly. Germany has suffered from the COVID aftereffects and lost many restaurants and moved towards too much fast food but Pullmans still deliver excellent German cuisine.

Food was superb, so was the wine (obviously!). The restaurant has a great atmosphere with beautiful decor that I loved. Service was great as well!

We had a great stay in this hotel. Rooms and ensuite badrooms are spacious. A small fridge would have been a plus. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices but I would have liked some more pastry. Free parking places in front of the hotel available.

Very spacious room with really good beds. The bathroom and shower are also very spacious. The breakfast in buffet had a wide variety of choices.

A wonderful location and about 4.3km to the main town of Cochem. The hosts were great, the room was comfortable and clean. The evening meal was superb. In all a very nice stay, thank you

I’m so lost for words. Yasmin and his team felt us at home, away from home. From the lovely rooms, to the sunny terrace where drinks and food was enjoyed, to the close proximity of the Mosel river and the beautiful sights of the wine ranks. I love this place and recommend everyone to stay here! 😍😍😍

You mentioned it on tripadvisir as a hotel with quiet rooms, even made soundproof. Yes, they made effort trying to keep the noise of the road away. But you can stil hear it , other quest showers, talking, laughing in bed (among other noices). Solid roomlocks you hear being slammed. Televisions etc. So please reconsider it. Because of you we stayed here. For the rest, friendly staff.

great location and position, very clean, delicious food.

The staff was very friendly, they asked several times if everything was ok. The hotel was a short 5 minute drive from Cochem, beautiful vineyards right behind the hotel. For me personally it is very important that the rooms are super clean. I have never seen such a clean hotel room. We had a nice terrace overlooking the vineyard. We will definitely go back!

Very good, well maintained little hotel. Perfect Mosel views. Friendly staff. They even have chargers for electric autos! Could use a bit more imagination with the restaurant menu.

Definitely worth a 5-star review. Fantastic location, easy parking, breakfast included, professional and friendly staff. Valwig is a charming place in the Moselle region, and a very short 10 minute drive from the bustling Cochem and the Reichsburg Castle. I can highly recommend and would stay again. Visited in April 2025 and was lucky to have summer like weather. Absolutely fabulous!

I didn't stay there but the food and ambience are outstanding both inside and in the courtyard garden at the back. Charming and always a great pleasure!

Very friendly staff. Food was delicious, we had the halb pension arrangment. We had on Friday evening the Schnitzel buffet. Breakfast was also very good, on sunday it is available until 12. Everything looks well maintained and in good state. Very clean and well organized. By bike you can easily reach Cochen in max 15 min.

That was the best holiday at Mosel! Food in the restaurant was very inspiring, and delicious. Service was also very nice. Especially, woman from Estonia. She had made everything with soul and pleasure. Perfect place to relax with your family.

Comfortable, spacy room with a small relaxing balcony. Attentive staff. Nice decor. Good restaurant and well prepared dishes.

Ate at the restaurant food was good. Menu indicated you could use credit card with 40€ purchase or more. Checking out we were then told CASH only! Frustrating, so be prepared!

Only went in to eat. Fantastic food, 1kg head on prawns highly recommended. Not cheap so be prepared to pay for what you have. Fabulous.

I didn't stay in the hotel, but had lunch in there restaurant, so that's what I based my review on. The service is fine and the location on the river is excellent. It should be a seafood restaurant, so I ordered the mussels (Miesmuchselen Sud) in tomatosaus, garlic with bread. The dish looked good when it hit the table. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointend. The mussels where very salty and there...

A great hotel. Room comfortable..if u go ask for room 20 with a view over the Mosel river. Water level was very high due to much rain. Food was very good wholesome fare with plenty of it. Will be a great base for cycling the region in spring and summer. Staff friendly but do nrush up on your basic German as English was a bit in short supply. Perhaps summer staff more linguistically qualified!!! Close...

I liked my stay at Hotel Fritz. The room was big and comfy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was also good.

Very sweet and professional staff. Warm and rich breakfast buffet, although we wouldn't have minded a bit more salad options. Very close to Cochem, but still well enough away for a relaxing night of sleep. Includes wine tasting on the weekends! The hotel has its small bicycle garage, which was great for us as we took our own bicycles with us from Hanau. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable...
