We stopped there for diner, Food was excellent, I had Schnitzel and wife Salmon.....Potions where generous. Coffee and red wine (fruity) 👍.....Would stop again for sure. Bonus Lady server spoke English to us Tourist from Canada 🇨🇦

The hotel was nice, clean and the temperature inside our room was ok even when it was very hot outside. The breakfast was very good, lots of stuff and the host is friendly. Wifi did not work in our room though, it did downstairs at the restaurant. In case you stay here and like active outdoor activities: try the Calmont Klettersteig!

Very nice spa hotel with extra helpful staff and wonderful service. The room was very hot with no AC on entry, but a fan was provided and opening the window allowed fresh air in which cooled the room over night. Fabulous Cochem Only down side was the lift begins on the first floor. Limited mobility would struggle. Staff friendly and professional. This place is kinda dumpy. The single room was really small and there was no place to put anything. Really no place to put a suitcase except on the floor and there’s barely room to do that. The place really needs to be updated.

The location is awesome, but we have to park bit far from the hotel. The hotel is located in the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator.

An impeccably run and maintained hotel about 15-20min walk from the centre of Cochem. If you're looking for a hotel to explore Cochem and the nearby region, you can't go wrong with Stumbergers. The hotel was almost outside Cochem,but you could walk to town in 1 km. On the other side we did have a balcony to the Mosel river and the room was nice. Breakfast was really good. Loved the host came and asked if you wanted a boiled or scrambled egg.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Stumbergers in Cochem. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome, and the location is perfect for exploring Cochem and the Moselle Valley. Highly recommended!

Very noisy due to road works and as no air-conditioning we had to leave them open.

We had a spacious room with a balcony and a great bathroom. Excellent beds. The breakfast was extensive. The three-course menu included soup, a generous and delicious main course of your choice, and a simple dessert. The center of Cochem was about a 20-minute walk away. It's a charming, but very touristy town. Very friendly service. In short: excellent value for money and definitely recommended.

Room was exceptionally spacious with sofa and balcony. Swimming pool was quiet, relaxing and water temperature and was just right. Daily cleaning was excellent. Cleaner very helpful. If you are arriving in a car, this hotel is ideal. Easy access from a main road with free parking Front facing rooms have a lovely view of the castle across the river and the old town is just a quick walk over the bridge.

The castle view room is worth it. The balcony is as nice to relax on at night. There is no A/C, however there was a fan in the room. It didn’t keep the room cold could probably use a bigger one or a second fan in the room. We had a very early train and the hotel accommodated a very early breakfast for us. Excellent location, quiet area within walking distance of everything - highly recommend.

We stayed here recently and found it to be clean and comfortable. It was wonderful to sit on our balcony sipping a beer or glass of wine looking out at the castle in the evening after a busy day if touring. The room is big and very comfortable, it is silent, good bed. There are no lifts, so we had to climb 4 floors on stairs. It is not easy. The breakfast is very good.

Our stay at Brixiade & Triton Hotel in Cochem had a small issue at first, as room 19 had an unpleasant smell. Thankfully, the staff quickly moved us to a much better room. Overall, the staff were friendly, the food was okay, and the location is perfect.

The best feature of this hotel is the castle and river view from the window. The room was clean, but there was a moldy smell inside and outside, and since there was no ventilation, the only option was to keep the balcony door constantly open. Both breakfast and dinner were average. The wine list was very extensive, and a perfect recommendation was given.

We have had an super nice weekend in Brixiade & Triton hotel, even the weather was not so good we have had enough to do. Nice village, wonderfull woods for walking around. In the hotel a very nice sauna & wellness place, very good food and most important so friendly people who are wordking in the hotel. For us the weekend was absolute a wonderfull weekend!

Great location, felt like we were in the heart of the activities of the town. Clean rooms, well appointed. Self check in feature adds convenience since hotel is not really staffed after 6pm. Cons- WiFi did not work the entire stay. Staff could not fix and nothing really was done to compensate for this issue. Elevator was down for most part of the stay. 5 floor hotel with plenty of steps.

Check in is self check in. An employee helped to take care of that. Hotel is clean and comfortable. It is in a strip of other hotels, cafes, and stores. It does overlook the Mosel river which is very nice. Everything is easily walkable and beautiful!

Everything is good. Great location, nice rooms. A little pricier than others. Two negatives: - the computerized checkin is cumbersome and buggy. It took three attempts to complete it, and the staff cannot override the program — it would be good to have a way to boil water to make tea in the evening, in the room or in the common area.

Located right by the Mosel River and on the edge of the old town of Cochem, easy walking distance to the castle. A great romantic get away.

The breakfast had a great variety and was incredible. Being able forego cleaning in exchange for 3 euro off a product at the attached store selling wines and other nice gift items. The room was a nice size with warm showers, a kettle and a minibar with room to chill a water or put a few small items in if necessary. We really enjoyed our stay.

WE really liked the location of the hotel. Very close to everything. The Buffett breakfast that was included was also excellent with lots of variety. The facility is on a very nice location. The food in the restaurant is delicious. It is clean and the room is okay. Unfortunately some staffmembers are rude and grumpy. I really miss the feeling of being welcome. Maybe it has something to do with the season but then you need to be professional.

Only criticism for the hotel is that there was no one at the hotel to check us in after 6PM. We had to call the hotel to get a staff member to come from their home and let us in. After 24 hours of travel from the USA this was very inconvient.

Hotels are expensive so the hotel is a good option on a budget (paid Euro 89 incl breakfast) Rooms are standard and the buffet breakfast basic but for the very central location and price was more than sufficient for a 1 night stay. No parking but there is a cheap public car park 5 minuztes walk from the hotel.

Exceeded expectations with a great location, parking, solid breakfast and spacious rooms. We did choose to upgrade to a larger room with a view which was worth the addition cost as it was very spacious. Location is across the river from City Center which allows you to keep windows open for fresh air with less sounds from the crowds.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Traumblick for 3 nights in April. We had a "classic Mosel view" room, which is the smallest size on the top floor with slanted ceiling. Although the room is small, every inch is well-utilized. Bathroom is compact but not unusual for European hotels. We had no issue with water pressure on the top floor. Very nice landlords who live in the house. You feel at home. Everything decorated with love. Super clean and a great breakfast. It's also relatively central. About 5 minutes on foot. Parking is also right in front of the door. The only downside ... in the rooms is no TV. Otherwise everything was perfect and really recommendable.

Lift off in Cohem Despite no lift in the hotel, this a very relaxing place to stay just minutes from the fun downtown.Kim and Mary are 2 of the staff and are friendly, caring and a delight to talk to. We stayed the the Hotel for a short week. Upon arrival we were welcomed at the desk. The room is spacious and the bed is firm. Breakfast changes every day and is very good. Upon recommendations we visited several nice restaurants near bye.

The property was up on a hill overlooking the Moselle river. Beautiful scenery. Easy to get to. Staff very accommodating.

I booked the hotel on the day or even on our way travelling. It was spontaneously chosen and turned to be not bad at all. I enjoy the quiet environment here. But locationweise I would not recommend the hotel if someone wants to walk to the old town.

We were in Cochem for 5 days and the hotel is absolutely great! The modernized rooms are well equipped and clean! A family atmosphere! Great service and delicious food! The way to the hotel is a bit exhausting but even that doesn't deter us we will be back!

A pleasant hotel with free parking. Slightly let down by lack of a proper bar (although some drinks are available after hours) and a torn curtain in the room. The bed and bathroom were great though, and there’s an hourly bus service if you don’t fancy walking back from the town centre. Overall a good choice for Cochem and the surrounding area.

The location was a little secluded but walkable to restaurants by the river. The room was clean and spacious. I recommend this hotel if you can’t get anything closer to the city.

The Hotel itself was very good, room excellent. Parking place is in a few hundred metets and second evening parking place was full.. But after a time we found another parking place.

Friendly staff Very clean rooms, with good beds. Decent and nice sanitary facilities. The only downside on my side was the too soft pillow, but maybe if I had asked for another and they have it, they would certainly help you.

We got a table for dinner at short notice in this very nice restored hotel/gastronomy. You can taste the fresh ingredients, the kitchen cooks with love. Meat from the region from beef to game. The staff is very friendly and competent. If you want to EAT well on the Moselle, this is the place for you. We'll be back for sure.

We were served super friendly and the food was delicious. The restaurant was fully booked and yet we all had our food quickly and at the same time. Ambiance and atmosphere very nice. Our north German friends were thrilled...also by the fine wines. We'd love to come back.
