I came to this city on a business trip. It borders France, and the hotel is in a very good location in the city center with a particularly nice environment. There are beautiful views of the river.

I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy. The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay.

Overall nice hotel with large rooms and good breakfast. Parking is small in front of the hotel. But the bar and restaurant do not work on Sundays and restaurant also on Saturdays which is odd

Decent hotel outside Saarbrücken, it's a bit older, but still pretty nice. The breakfast was quite good, lots to choose from! Getting to downtown Saarbrücken was also not too bad, takes about 10 minutes, but finding parking is another challenge

Staff and service are good. There is free parking nearby. Unfortunately, the TV is not a smart one without YouTube, Netflix, etc. From 6:30 a.m. it is loud on the ground floor and you don't need an alarm clock.

Nice hotel built in the 80s with elegant lobby. Unfortunately, it was built before regulations for barrier free accessibility came to place and wouldn’t really be usable by anyone in a wheelchair. There is a flight of stairs to get from the street to the reception and there are steps in the dining area.

I gave the location four stars, as it is in a quiet street, but not quite in the city centre. a walk of ten minutes gets you to the railway station, slap in the centre of town. The quieter location does, however, make parking easier! The rooms vary quite a lot, depending on the class booked, but all are clean and more than adequate. A tastefully furnished hotel in a quiet location close to the city centre with easy, stress-free self check-in around the clock. Plus nice, friendly staff - what more could you want?

Stayed here for one night while visiting friends in the area. Easy and efficient check-in, very friendly and helpful staff; despite a late check-in, I was still offered full choice of the menu for an evening meal. Room was very clean and comfortable, and the quiet location meant a peaceful nights sleep. Can thoroughly recommend

It was a very nice hotel, very clean and easy to access from the motorway. The staff were very nice and helpful, easy self check in and a great variety of food for breakfast. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was the fact that we got charged for parking, which wasn't a nice surprise. The additional cost wasn't mentioned when we booked the room. I think that parking should be included in the cost...

This hotel is an unexpected gem. The entry level "cosy room" category we booked was a delight; high ceilings, beautiful light, flawless design (they designed and made their own shower tiles) and immaculate house keeping. The service at reception and breakfast was the perfect mix of accommodating, friendly, and professional. Big thanks to Julia for looking after us so well.

Great boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Close to great restaurants, central station, sites. Fantastic service!
