Decent hotel outside Saarbrücken, it's a bit older, but still pretty nice. The breakfast was quite good, lots to choose from! Getting to downtown Saarbrücken was also not too bad, takes about 10 minutes, but finding parking is another challenge

I gave the location four stars, as it is in a quiet street, but not quite in the city centre. a walk of ten minutes gets you to the railway station, slap in the centre of town. The quieter location does, however, make parking easier! The rooms vary quite a lot, depending on the class booked, but all are clean and more than adequate. The staff are lovely, and nothing is a trouble. The hotel has both a swimming pool, which is usually pleasantly quiet, and a sauna, steam room, and relaxation room in which guests can chill after their sauna! There is also an outdoor, semi-covered relaxation room, which could perhaps do with a coat of paint before springtime! The relaxed ambience, friendly staff, pool and wellness area, plus the almost-central, but quiet location make this my hotel of choice in Saarbrucken.

We stayed at the hotel with a small child from January 4 to 5. When checking in, we were warned that the restaurant would not be open. But in fact, there was a noisy party for the hotel staff. It is still going on. It is 2 am and the music is blaring and people are shouting along. We went down three times and asked to turn it down. The hotel manager came up to our room, but the music continues to blare. Terrible disrespect for the hotel customers.

Staff and service are good. There is free parking nearby.
Unfortunately, the TV is not a smart one without YouTube, Netflix, etc.
From 6:30 a.m. it is loud on the ground floor and you don't need an alarm clock.

Nice hotel built in the 80s with elegant lobby. Unfortunately, it was built before regulations for barrier free accessibility came to place and wouldn’t really be usable by anyone in a wheelchair. There is a flight of stairs to get from the street to the reception and there are steps in the dining area.

This hotel is okay if you’re not depending on public transportation or are a business traveler. The lobby is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable but not very modern. If you have a lot of luggage or are in a wheelchair, this might not be the right hotel for you. While there are elevators, there are still steps to overcome when entering the hotel and when going to at least some of the rooms. I had two pieces of luggage and was not happy with that.
My main critique point however is the gym. I specifically booked this hotel because they claim they have a gym. There is a fitness room, but there is no treadmill which I consider standard equipment. The elliptical is a squeaky, wobbly piece that I would consider a safety hazard and shouldn’t be there. The hotel has a pool and wellness area which looks nice. However, the pool opens at 8am and if you’re a business traveler like me, I simply didn’t have the time to take a swim that late. Overall, this was a disappointing hotel stay.

We enjoyed the swimming pool, the calm and the professionalism of the staff, it's a shame that there aren't any French channels on TV.
