It's not pet-freindly not to allow a small dog in the restaurant - and let us have breakfast in the reception area on terrible chairs.

8/10 The hotel is a little old. The cleaning was very good, but there were cobwebs outside as if the windows had not been opened for a long time. The pillows are so soft that you can only sleep with two of them.

Good location for my purposes. Starts to show its age, there is wear and tear everywhere. There are no power sockets next to beds for charging and also the desk does not have sockets for computer. Minibar was loaded, which is also not so fashionable any more. Breakfast is still as good as always.

Comfortable hotel, one of the best with character in the region. Fitness center much lower than Radisson’s standard. Staff is friendly and open to provide suggestions. There is marginal difference between parking in the front terrace and the parking lot. Water in the room could have been complimentary.

We stayed one night. The hotel is located in Merseburg, an ancient city situated on the Saale River and within a short drive from Halle and Leipzig. Partly covered parking may be available behind the hotel at EUR 13/night, however spaces are limited and we were lucky to get one of the last remaining spaces. We chose the hotel based on a previous stay in 2021. Unfortunately no Business Class Room...

The rooms seem a bit dated, the staff is super friendly (we got a great restaurant tip), and of course the location is great. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Without air conditioning, the rooms cannot be kept at an acceptable temperature during the day in midsummer.

Ok. Good place to have a rest.

The room was great for having a bedroom and a seperate "living" room one star less because not having a good lazy chair in the room

It was a nice experience. Room I availed is fair to the cost I paid. Been here for 3-5 times. Breakfast buffet is also good. No issue with parking space. Receptionist are also friendly.

Great place, comfortable rooms.

Easy to find, parking in back yard or basement garage available, but not free. Very clean, great 24/7 reception service, housekeepimg great, everything superclean, pool (next to garage) use for free, towels for free available, suites are big enough. One Senator suite, was occupied, could not take a peak.

Rooms, pool and amenities were excellent. Service at the snackbar was Falty-Towers level: not getting the order right several times, endless waiting for a menu and dishes brought to the wrong table. But the food was okay.

Very nice and clean hotel. U can park outside, unfortunatelyit was full when we arrive but they also has underground parking places. Breakfast was also good. Room was clean and there was litle cancy waiting for us also. Food in the restaurant was very good and tasty.

Good hotel, friendly staff. Big average rooms. A bit expensive for the average level, I missed a fridge in the room and some items at breakfast (very limited choice of 1 pastries). No free parking. Nice location, but rather ask for a room at the back to avoid noise from train.

They prepared everything early as we came, here I mean baby bed and sleeping Sofa.

Ok hotel, good breakfast, clean and spacious rooms. Parking is charged extra. Rooms have fridges and a kettle. The bed is very small and the mattress is obviously old since it is not flat any more. The rooms are extremely hot and don't have air conditioning. Even in the middle of the summer they are circulating hot air in the ventilation which makes the rooms even hotter. So if it's 30°C outside, expect...

Beautiful renovated castle hidden in the middle of nowhere. Transpiring hundreds of years of history in a very quiet and serene setting in the green. We had a delicious gourmet dinner that could easily have been served in a top Parisian restaurant.

This hotel is situated in a really nice, old castle with 2m-thick walls, quite rooms, a nice park. It's closeness to Halle makes it ideal as a quiet weekend getaway location there. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast was quite nice too. A definite recommendation!

Such a lovely place! We have spent a lovely weekend at Schloß Schkopau. The pictures can speak for themselves. P.S:the stuff was extra friendly and the breakfast delicious! We will definitely come back ,“The black dinner” sounded appealing :-)

I stayed for one night with a native speaker. The staff were very friendly, and we liked the room and the hotel, which is unique, at least for my limited experience of German accommodation. The only reason that I'm giving it 3 instead of 5, is that we were told that dinner will include a drink, but were charged for it when we checked out. They also charged us for the parking without informing us that...

Old castle. Very nice. Good breakfast and dinner. Great atmosphere. No air conditioning in the room so had to open windows but that was noisy due to trains and a nearby airport.

Room and bathroom were clean, spacious enough. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, coffee excellent and the meal in restaurant in the evening was also nice. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

It's a nice budget hotel. Clean simple rooms, friendly staff. The beds need new, more comfortable mattresses, otherwise everything is fine.

Solid accommodation. Clean and spacious. Street-facing rooms affected by traffic. Bicycles can be parked under a roof in the yard. Breakfast OK
