We recently held our annual corporate offsite at Schlosshotel Schkopau, and the experience left a lasting impression on the entire team. From the first inquiry through to the farewell, we were treated less like a booking and more like guests of the house — the kind of warm, family-run hospitality you simply don’t find in conference hotels. The setting itself made the event. Walking our colleagues through the historic halls, dining beneath the original architectural details, and running our working sessions in rooms with genuine character — these are the things people are still talking about months later. Several team members told us it was the most memorable offsite they had ever attended. What impressed us most was how naturally the team balanced the heritage atmosphere with a professional, executive-ready setup. Catering, technology, breakout spaces — everything worked, quietly and on time. Stayed at Schlosshotel Schkopau with my family and had a great experience. Beautiful historic castle with modern comfort, very clean rooms, and friendly staff. Quiet surroundings, perfect to relax with kids. The food was amazing and worth iss price. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful renovated castle hidden in the middle of nowhere. Transpiring hundreds of years of history in a very quiet and serene setting in the green. We had a delicious gourmet dinner that could easily have been served in a top Parisian restaurant.

Very charming castle, kept in style, renovated with attention to details. The town or the closest surroundings are not too special but castle itself is. Guests can visit the tower if ask for the key at the reception. Communicating with staff is difficult because rhey are poor in English. Breakfast was excellent, bar area average.

It’s been over 10 years but our stay here is still a top experience in our travels.
It’s a beautiful castle in a very quiet and lovely town.
The rooms were lovely. The grounds were well kept, peaceful and welcoming.
The staff were all friendly and professional and the wedding we were there to attend was simply incredible!
I would happily return one day if I’m able.

This hotel is situated in a really nice, old castle with 2m-thick walls, quite rooms, a nice park. It's closeness to Halle makes it ideal as a quiet weekend getaway location there. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast was quite nice too. A definite recommendation!

Such a lovely place! We have spent a lovely weekend at Schloß Schkopau. The pictures can speak for themselves.
