We celebrated our company Christmas dinner at Holsteiner Hof Restaurant, and the experience was excellent. Especially for the Geesthacht area, this restaurant is a wonderful choice for residents who are looking for a nice and cosy dining experience.
The food was amazing—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served good. The staff were also extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
Overall, Holsteiner Hof is a great place for special occasions or business events. We truly had a memorable evening and would happily recommend it.

Lunch on the 24/12.
Located in a the hotel of the same name, off the Main Street in Timmendorf.
It has an Old school rustic interior feel with church like wooden panels.
Good German selection of food- the classics. The mains of Pork knuckles was good with sauerkraut and potato puree. Massive portion and also Super heavy. Found the potato disc somewhat oil logged.
Cod with lemon sauce was also good.
Wine - typical mark up-
Limited selection.
Good service.

The hotel is ok. The staff is very nice and the rooms are somewhat comfortable so this hotel doesn't deserve less than 3 stars, but it also doesn't deserve more.
The rooms are old-fashioned, the breakfast is quite poor (even though enough) and there were some bugs in the room. If you need to stay around for one or two nights ot fits the propose. The staff really makes a difference there because they are quite nice.

Went there for my school reunion, and we had a blast.
Food was very good. Had the Italian roasted veg with halloumi. Service great and not overly on you as we wanted to catch up.
