Reviews
The spot gets one star less just because I half of the hotel has a view of the parking spot. Not the worse but it’s good to know when you are booking.
was very slow and he even pulled another guest first despite we were waiting longer.
they have no real decency you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
if more people are needed to check-in, even the local supermarket can easily open another checkout.
expect no help with your luggage whatsoever.
they claim to be a 5-star hotel which is weird.
WiFi is very slow in the rooms.
we had a room facing the pool and SPA. wasn’t that bad as it might sound.
the welcome desk is a handful. sometimes there are three people working and no guests. and sometimes there is a line of people and just one guy working the desk. clearly potential in ressource management by the hotel.
they love to discuss guest related information with each other that can be easily overheard by others. feels rude and not decent.
the room has no a/c. just a fake bezel with display you can select a temperature which has no effect. again: they claim 5stars.
as one might think: just open the windows and let cool air into the heated room: the first night we caught about 32 mosquitoes 🦟
we then understood why the white walls und ceiling in our room had tiny stains and dots standing out: the previous guest must have had the same struggle.
a mosquito net to slide into the door to the balcony would be great.
the gym spreads the vibes of an asylum: basement with close to the ceiling windows. older machines and white walls.
the dinner selection is good and the only reason for the 4-star review: some meat, fish and vegan. service is quick and waiters are friendly.
same with the breakfast buffet. they waiting staff goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. kudos to them.
the room was OK. nothing fancy or extra providing a 5-star feeling. some parts were obviously restored and some shelfs were old design. weird mix.
the have no electric car chargers. again: weird for a 5-star hotel. I hope that changes soon.
overall it feels that the 5-star evaluation has been granted by the mere fact that they have a hair dryer and water kettle in the room.
the amenities and environment feel more like checking a box in a list to gather stars in a German DeHoGa catalog than actually provide a 5-star guest service, which is obviously not an item in the checklist.
I really had great time at spa and hotel room was big with comfortable bed. Balcony overlooking the pool and forest is excellent.
But unfortunately they allow people to smoke on the balconies, so we got lots of smoke in our room, that was really annoying at night :(
