Hostels in Bremen

The hostel is easy to get to. There are some unsavoury characters hanging around the neighbourhood but not directly outside the hostel. Facilities were ok, but the dorms really need privacy curtains. There were also dishes regularly left in the kitchen sink. Staff were great. However, some sorta social events should be organised as there was no atmosphere.

I booked here again and I find this time quite good.

The location of the hostel is very good, easy to walk in all directions. There is a private toilet and shower per room. The kitchen is open, meaning everyone can use it. It's a very good price. I found the place clean. There is internet and a socket near the bed.

I stayed here for a week in a one bed room with a private bath. The place is clean, has a kitchen and is situated in a great location, close to the river and the main train station. The staff is friendly (big thanks to the handsome guy who helped us with our laundry). The only disadvantage was the cooktop which didn’t really work. But I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends.

Just adding onto my review from November 2021 after staying for a duration of times a couple times in May 2022. Townside has pretty much everything a traveller needs, and the location is great. The staff are friendly and accommodating (big shoutout to Darleen). Gets a little hot on the top floor.

Amazing hostel, the girl at the reception has amazing vibes and is super welcoming and friendly (red hair blue eyes), very clean, quiet and well located. Perfect hostel in my eyes ! And cheap !!

This The hotel is in a convenient location, 5-10 minutes from the main square and to get the tram to the airport. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and well soundproofed, clean, spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful hotel in a great location, so easy to park too. Immaculate, very contemporary, well designed rooms and decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Can't believe they are a chain, would definitely choose a Motel One hotel again. Great breakfast and amazing value all round.

Great stay! Friendly staff at check in, room hood size and clean. Nice selection of TV channels, and good WiFi. Great little kitchen with all you need, and makes the room feel bigger. Good size bathroom, nice towels ok ish water pressure. Highly recommend at the right price!

Very nice modern hotel, the lobby is currently being renovated, therefore no breakfast is currently available, but a coffee machine for coffee, cappuccino etc. has been provided free of charge, very nice.

Completely fine for the price. Especially for the location. The only drawback is the underground car park with the driveway. Something so steep with such a curve is a disaster.

For the price of just under €56.00, the room is fine except for the lack of heating. Clean, low-budget hotel in a central location. Little light in the room and the noise of the tram can be heard with the windows closed, these are the other disadvantages. Breakfast for €12.50 was solid in terms of selection and quality for this price range.

Very noisy from morning to evening like they were fixing something upstairs. The first night I stayed there, there was internet. I woke up in the morning and the electricity was out. I waited for about 3 hours. The electricity came back but the wifi didn't work. The room didn't have a mini bar and no drinking water.

The hotel is within walking distance from the station and the center, about 15 minutes. The hotel room for two is very small, especially the bathroom. No wardrobe, kettle, safe. You can stay overnight. Breakfast is acceptable.

Very good experience. I have been welcomed very well by the staff.

Quick check-in. Garage in basement with lift nearby which made it easy to bring our 2 cats in their carrier straight to the room. No keycards, but a pincode which is easy. Comfortable beds and enough towels for everyone. Breakfast was very simple.

Nice breakfast. We had a water leak in our room. We got offered another room but we couldn't get a new room for the hole family. This brings the experience down a bit but otherwise we like our stay. Good location with parking possibility.

The hotel is in a very quiet location on the edge of Bremen's old town. There's a tram stop right in front of the hotel, and trams run frequently. The hotel is in a modern, new building with underground parking. The rooms are simply furnished, but everything is practically arranged. The rooms are bright thanks to the large windows and comfortably accommodate two people.

Breakfast isn't great, the rest is quite manageable

Clean, good public connection (just in front of entrance area), access control by personal code. Rooms on 2nd floor or higher can be reached by elevator. Gas station just 200 m away, supermarket also near the hotel.

Property and staff were excellent

Beautiful room, wonderful manager, and great cafe. The only negative was being dropped off by taxi at the back door (during the day!), which was rather creepy.

Our room was beautiful and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and modern, and the staff was friendly. Best of all though was sitting in the cafe downstairs and looking out into the market square, which was stunning.

A functional and clean little hotel in Bremen. There's even a small kitchenette in the room. Check-in was pleasant and straightforward. The sink and wastebasket aren't ideally positioned; you have to sit at a rather awkward angle on the toilet. (Room 3)

The hotel is very central. Tram to the city center is very frequent. I have a Kitchen in the room. The shower/Toilet was very clean. Check -in was very easy and contactless. In all I will always book this hotel when in Bremen. The value for money is high.

Nice little room, it has everything you need to get through about a weekend.

Check-in was smooth. The room was small. No coffee machine. The room smelled a bit musty. The mosquito net door wouldn't close. The bed was good. It was quiet at night despite the proximity to the main road. Recommended for one night.

Everything you'd expect for the price. No complaints, but be aware that you need a code for the check-in.

We paid 20euro for one night here and I was impressed really. Location isn't great as there's not much nearby but the tram stops are close. Rooms were comfortable and staff made it easy to check in. Would stay here again for 1 or 2 nights

One of the cheapest way to stay at Bremen. 5 minutes walking to trams to the center, Burger King nearby. Only for hardcore travellers, not recommended to stay with children - very (VERY!) durty floor in the rooms (at least in 210). Died and dried insects on the walls. Noizee ventilation. The personal doesn't read 'Do not disturb' label. The bed linon is very clean and comfortable. Vending machines...

Had problems with the 24h check in and could therefore not enter our room, however the reception handled the problem very well and funded the difference to the hotel in which we had to stay. I was very happy with how the situation was handled.
