Studio- Kokon- Souterrain in Bremen

Didn’t feel very safe there. I found chewing gum in the sink, empty beer bottles IN the shower, next to the toilet and also full of them in the room, but nobody took them for the whole time I stayed there. There are people living there full time. The only good parts are location and price

I booked my stay via booking.com, and on the app it said the check-in is from 15:00-21:00, when I called the hostel at 18:00 on the day of my booking, the person said the check-in shuts at 19:00, after telling him that on booking.com it said 21:00, he started shouting at me. He told me to find another hostel. He was yelling and very rude. The worst experience ever. When I told him i cannot speak in German, he was shouting more.
WORST STAFF EVER.

Hostel:
I have stayed in hostels that cost 10-13€, but this one was extremely bad. It was a 9 sharing room, where there were just 3 people including me, so it wasn't a problem. But if it's fully occupied and there is someone sleeping on the top bunker bed, than i feel the one below won't sleep at all. The bunk beds are of really bad quality, instead of a wooden or a metal sheet for the top bed, there was just some metal net, which is very risky for the lower bed person if there is someone sleeping on the top.

There were no electric sockets near my bed.

There were two bathrooms, they were neat.

Location:
Very close to the Bremen Hbf.

The Hostel is not recommended.
If you have to spontaneously book a little, Airbnb, Couchsurfing or youth hostels for sure the better choice.
We thought that we can at least expect cleanliness and a certain standard, but that was not the case.
The entire floor is covered with carpets, the dirt to conceal, to the left in the carpet stains. That's why it smells everywhere a little uncomfortable.
The hostel kitchen is just right Abfuck! It is located in the basement and many kitchen utensils missing such as a simple spoon. When the kitchen was last cleaned God knows. The would sleep here but never.
The 10 Dorm is standard, of course, lower than, for example, a single room, but it would be expected that proper bedding and a clean toilet are available. Is water absorbed toilet paper has us in a Bad roll next to the toilet and piss stench, fortunately. After all, the shower curtain was beautiful (we love blue Dolphin!), the shower itself was not relaxed, without shower head holder at all times.
If you decide here to spend the night, be sure to bring flip flops so you don't have to touch the ground.
The beds:
Get a massage bedüftigen back, because the metal rods of the bed surface will cause you joy, but the sleep was acceptable (on the floor, we would have slept any worse). The pillows were just funny. A rectangular piece of fabric with lots of small cotton balls stuffed. Great! The Ceilings were ok, a bit short, but you can't have everything...
Can the Internet, only to 1. Floor receive, we were in the third so - and wifilos.
The Breakfast we have made here for yourself, you can't get one for 3-5 euro, for the price, however, is a bit poor, and retaining only the Standard.
The Highlight is definitely the free coffee until 10:30! WOW
The location is good, walking in the old town, train station, etc., all with 10 min. .
Sad that the Service, cleanliness, etc. so much is not true, because the employees are really nice and helpful, just like the roommate:)

I give it 1 star only because is well located. There were many spaniards, it was to funny... And no. Hush to the kitchen if you have noses... :S The beds without sheets, a stench... it is that it is the cheapest, but joe...

Very basic hostel but in a good location. Have to pay extra for linen and towels. Pillows were terrible.

Not a great hostel. Linen is extra and there's zero atmosphere. It's cheap but I didn't even see backpackers here. Just a lot of temporary living for locals or the like it seemed. They have check-in times but they aren't there for them... You have to call no matter the check-in time. They apparently charge ten euro of you check-in after the time you call about but I wondered what kind of discount I deserved after waiting 30 minutes to check in during the check-in times...oh wait. None.

Erk beurk yuck !
I hope everyone will understand that this means the hostel is uncomfortable, dirty and smells cold cigarette everywhere.
Only star for the location, near the center. But that doesn't make up for all the other bad aspects of this hostel.
I don't recommend this place at all.
