Disappointing experience – I do not recommend it

My experience at this accommodation was unfortunately very bad. I booked it mainly for the pool so that my daughter could enjoy her vacation, but when we arrived the pool was completely dirty. When I asked the owner if it was cleaned, at first she avoided answering clearly and in the end she admitted to me that it was not clean, so we did not use it at all for fear of infections.

Furthermore, I had booked a room with a double bed, but they put us in a room with two single beds that had been roughly joined together, without even placing anything in between, as a result we were banging on the wood and could not sleep comfortably.

The room did not even have mosquito repellent, as a result we were full of bites and had difficulty sleeping. There was also no written WiFi password, I had to call the owner to find it and in the end the internet was so weak that it barely got through in the room.

Overall the accommodation does not live up to its description at all and I personally think it does not even deserve the 2 stars it has. I sincerely regret my choice and would not recommend it to anyone.

Appalling check in
All communication via phone calls to confirm check in time etc. No one to meet at property on arrival or message left to say which apartment. Again we had to phone them. On departure day note delivered requesting walk to an office 1/2 mile away to complete check in. On phoning to query was told it was to pay 3€ room tax in cash. Which agreed could leave in room with the key. Accommodation paid for by card. Also so room cleaned in afternoon when we were in for a siesta, cleaners only staff present during our stay. Shower and kitchenette very dated and didn’t drain properly.Curtains wouldn’t close. Shutters wouldn’t stay closed and were rotten at bottom. Toilet or shower leak.

Hotel Stay
The hotel itself was just fine. It gave me the beautiful Greece feel I was looking for, however, what made me give a two star rating was that I had jewelry go missing. I was unaware cleaners came into the room while you’re out. It would have been just fine if all they did was come in and empty the trash but they touched my things and stole some of my Jewelry. At first I thought it could have been an honest mistake. I had put some jewelry I took off in a little baggie on the nightstand instead of in my jewelry box since I didn’t want to dig through my suitcase at the time. When I was packing to go I couldn’t find the baggie so I assumed the cleaners mistook it for trash and threw it away, but then I noticed I was also missing a pendant from inside my jewelry box. I didn’t wear this necklace while I was here, so there’s no way it could have been anywhere but inside my jewelry box. This now leads me to believe that my jewelry was in fact stolen and not accidentally tossed. The hotel itself was clean and quiet but if you stay here make sure you decline room service or put locks on all your things.

Cold water in the shower, uncomfortable beds, could not cook on the stove since it has less power than needed, wifi didn’t work, far from the city centre. Worst hotel I have stayed at. A supermarket quite near the hotel is the only positive I have to mention. Do not book this hotel!!!
