Captains Studios & Apartments in Kavos

We have booked this hotel for four nights. Unfortunately we had to leave the same day of arrival.
I asked to receive at least a partial refund but that didn’t happen, the hotel insisted on not allowing any refund, causing me to pay for entire stay but spending not even a single night.
Anyway, we still had a chance to get to the room for a couple of hours.
That was definitely enough to realize what a terrible place it is.

POSITION: Kavos is a very little village on the far wild south of the island, it is definitely the place you want to be if you’re in your early 20s (or probably younger) and are looking for getting wasted all night. It’s full of hords of young boys mainly from north European counties and UK, unnecessary to mention, alcohol flows as rivers (with all the consequences this might cause).
Other than that there’s pretty much nothing for kilometers and kilometers.

CLEANING: as you might expect from a dormitory-like place, cleaning it’s definitely not a priority. The entire village is terribly dirty, and the hotel definitely doesn’t differ in any way - as you can see from the pictures.

FOOD: can’t say much, just had a salad, it was a salad.

CONFORT: the toilette was small, unpleasant, obviously dirt as the rest of the room and worn out and old. The rest of the room consisted of three separated beds, in a dormitory style fashion a tiny wardrobe and no chairs or whatsoever. The kitchen reflected the same trend, all the cutlery was disposed in a tiny drawer that looked like it’s never been cleaned since decades - as you can clearly see from the pictures.
Bonus: the hotel is on the main road, so you will be delighted by all the dorks tuned exhausts passing by (seems like it’s a very common spieces)

COURTESY: the waiter I’ve been talking to have always been nice to me. However given the situation I would have expected a word from the manager who has not even thought of talking to me in person and explaining why the denial on a potential partial refund, he just dispatched the order to the guys who could do nothing but get me informed of the denial and the absolute closure in further speech.
