Domna in Mykonos City

The Manager Maria waited for our late arrival. Spotless clean, excelent varied breakfast. Close to Restaurants and the Port.

The hotel is perfectly maintained. The staff is really friendly. The breakfast is great. The bedrooms are quite big, with a fridge which is really useful. Only issue was the mattress, not really good. We went at the end of September, we had a very good price.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. The rooms were super clean and large, great comfy bed and air conditioning. The price was also reasonable for Mykonos.

Our issue with Domna is that, while it looks close to the town in Mykonos, it is actually far up a hill. This hill is only accessible really by vehicles and it’s quite dangerous to walk up to the hotel as you have to walk along the edge of really busy roads. There are no street lights or pavements. We were surprised that the management didn’t discuss the best ways of getting in to town or anything etc.

Mykonos was really windy when we were there (early September) so we were unable to take advantage of the swimming pool etc. One other thing to note is that taxis are exorbitantly expensive and the (official) taxi from the airport to the hotel (1km, 4 minute ride) was €17. Our transfer taxi that the hotel arranged (very kindly - thank you!) was also really expensive. (2km, 8 minutes) €30. It’s not possible/safe to walk from the airport to Domna due to lack of pavements and lighting etc on the roads.

This hotel is amazing! We had the best possible holiday in Mykonos. Hotel so close to Mykonos old town , new room which made our experience even more enjoyable and omg the staff! So lovely people there, especially Eva - bartender by the pool. She was always taking very good care of us and she is so funny 🙌🏼. When she come to work the good music is always on. Please, keep it up. 👌👌
