Dorion Hotel in Ornos

I like the location, free parking. Nice pool.
The shower situation is why I cut 1 star. It’s so difficult to shower in the bath tub. The glass partition doesn’t do anything to keep the water from going all over the bathroom. Handheld shower makes it really difficult.

We had an exceptional stay at the Dorion Hotel. The bay views are breathtaking, perhaps the best we've seen. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious with great variety. All staff were incredibly friendly, with special thanks to Dimitri for his warm welcome. The hotel's chic décor is a delightful bonus. For quality and price, we can't recommend a better hotel in the area.

The Dorion is a gem. The public areas are exquisitely decorated and the rooms have great views of the harbor and pools. The staff was very attentive.

I really recommend this little hotel. Its in a lovely position, the decoration is beautiful, curated and looked after. The staff were all very friendly. As a Brit, I would have loved a kettle in the room, but the receptionist obliged and kindly prepared a pot of hot water every time I needed ;-) Position wise, great view, not disturbed by any noise and you can walk into Ornos within 10mins max.

We were very well received, the staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is welcoming and quiet, allowing you to relax. The decor is beautiful. Advantage of being close to services and bus stop. Close to Ornos beach and good restaurants. Good experience, I recommend the hotel.

Beautifully built in the style of a Mykonian port mansion with sophisticated Greek charm and nestled atop a hill overlooking Ornos beach, the Dorion is a sanctuary amongst the craziness that is Mykonos.

In fact, the hotel was my favorite part of my 2 day stay in Mykonos… well perhaps a beach club to saxophone/DJ combo Stones & Bones (these guys rock!).

Great shower, comfortable beds, luxurious pool with adjoining sun beds, waking up to a sea breeze and coffee on my balcony, a 15 min walk to one of the best beaches on the island. The hotel breakfast was also the best I’ve had, complete buffet style with fresh veggies, omelets, coffee and juice.

Plus the main reception, (apologies forgot name) a man with glasses and welcoming demeanor, is incredibly helpful, giving travelers tips, booking cars, and offering advice.

I travel quite a bit and can confidently say you’ll enjoy your stay here. Bravo.

I can't compare to other hotels in Mykonos but Dorian Hotel was 5 star. Every room appears to have a view facing Ornos Bay. Rooms were well laid out. Air conditioning worked very well. If you are willing to splurge, the junior suite with private pool is worth it. The grounds are beautiful and even has a whitewashed chapel on premises. Hotel staff took care of us whatever the situation. Beach is 5 minute walk.

Excellent location right above Ornos town overlooking the Ornos Beach....8 min walk to Town & Beach

Rooms are clean & are cleaned daily
All the regular amenities are there...TV, Fridge, WiFi, Safe, ...My room had a nice private balcony overlooking the beach & town

Peter/Pétros is a staff worker that does it all...He assists in the checkin/out, works at breakfast in the dining hall, keep the pool area looking good & even assists in cleaning of rooms....Wow!! What an Amazing young man

The property was always looking clean & well maintained...Great stay!!
