Hermes Mykonos Hotel in Mykonos City

Friendly and professional staff. A truly nice hotel with a wonderful view!

I fell in love with this beautiful place! The staff is so kind, friendly, fun to talk with. Everyone was sincerely engaged with us. The views from Hermes are spectacular! And for me, I was so happy they let me play with the locals kitty. I want to come back. What a special place in the world. Hotel was exactly what I hoped for.

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and have a mixed opinion about this hotel.

PROS:
• Good location! It’s a 10-minute walk to town, which was the main reason I chose this hotel, since I didn’t want to rent a car or depend on buses.
• Excellent breakfast included.
• Free shuttle service from the ferry port or airport (and back). This is very convenient, considering the standard taxi rate in Mykonos is €40.
• Due to a ferry strike, we had to change our stay, and Chrysa kindly rebooked our dates at no extra charge and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Mayra at reception was very nice as well with great recommendations!
• Nice sea views (especially from the restaurant and lobby).

CONS:
• The shuttle driver seemed upset and even came across as rude when picking us up, which gave a poor first impression.
• Our room smelled like sewage when we arrived.
• Some furniture feels old and worn. Even the wallpaper behind the bed was poorly applied, making the room look outdated.
• The staff, in general, was not as warm and friendly as in other parts of Greece I’ve visited.
• Rooms are not soundproof- you can hear everything from neighboring rooms and the restaurant.

Overall: I guess the price was ok for what I got but I would definitely look for a different option if I return to Mykonos.

Staff was very attentive. They booked a massage for me in my room on a rainy day. The breakfast was delicious and offered many choices.

I actually like the location. It's far from the hustle and bustle of the pier. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the pier and a little more effort to climb back. The room is clean and not depressing. The breakfast is also great. The front desk provides very detailed transportation information and can help you book travel programs. There are also shuttle buses to the airport and the pier. There are also regular shuttle buses from town to the hotel (at night).

When walking back from the city, you have to climb a steep hill, but the view is amazing! The bread and cheese at breakfast were delicious and the staff were very friendly.

The room is clean and well-equipped

Great hotel with free hotel pick up on your arrival and departure. Very clean and great breakfast! It's up on the hill, so expect some uphill walking, but the beautiful views make the 10mins walk from the main area worthy.

What an amazing hotel! Staff in the reception and the pool bar were super nice and always willing to help! We arrived there before the checkin and they let us go to the room right the way. Views from the room, from the pool and from the breakfast area were breathtaking!
Breakfast food was delicious, a lot of options of fruits, breads and eggs (they prepare it according to what you want - scrambled, pouched, fried ...).
They have parking space and is really easy to park there.
The only thing you should be prepared is: if you want to go to "downtown" you can go by foot, it is like 10/15 minutes walking! Then, to go there, no problem. But to go back to the hotel, a lot of climbing. Every night we arrived at the hotel sweating a lot - but that is life! If we go to Mykonos again, we will for sure stay at Hermes! Really really recommend!!!
