Alinda Hotel in Alinda

I've been here twice with my wife. Perfect location with a beautiful beach. The hotel is at the best beach of the island, also called Alinda. Very cosy and family-friendly hotel, owned by very nice people. All the staff show great hospitality. Owners are very open-hearted. Also my wife and I are very fond of their restaurant and the menu. I can almost say that I'm having the similar tastes from my childhood family tables. Looking forward to go there again.

Do you remember the episode of Anthony Bourdain when he went to Leros and stayed in a family-run beachfront hotel? Me neither, because it never happened. But if it did, I’m sure it would have been at Hotel Alinda.

You know the episodes that end with him celebrating with locals, raising a glass as live music plays into the night. Before that he would have shown the genuine Greek dishes—fresh, simple, and soulful. He would have smiled at the hard work and big laughs of the family and friends who run the place.

That’s Hotel Alinda. You wake up to a view of the water, eat breakfast with homemade touches, and watch the two young gentlemen serving playfully tease each other about who’s really working harder. It’s the kind of hospitality Tony loved to celebrate—and made viewers wish we were there with him.

My experience at the Hotel Alinda was nothing short of amazing.

Lovely little family-run hotel right across from a gorgeous, crystal-clear beach. The staff are super welcoming and the place is spotless. Breakfast was really good too! Rooms are a bit small, but cozy and comfortable. Perfect spot for a relaxing stay.

We stayed for one night, also ate at their restaurant. The food is nice, portions are quite big. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel has beachfront, but the umbrellas are not enough. The sun beds are under the sun with no shade more than half the say. Not convenient when it is really hot during summer. But you can find tables in shade in the restaurant side.
The staff is kind, except for one girl who literally kept chasing us several times to pay for our coffees and water - even after we paid. We were staying at the hotel anyway, going nowhere… As hotel guests we didn’t enjoy the behaviour, it was weird.
The price is expensive for one night. Probably not because of the hotel but the average seasonal prices on the island.

The hotel was perfect. Quiet location but only a walk away to bars and restaurants and the main village by the ferry is only a short taxi ride in. The rooms were cleaned every day. Air con was good. The bathrooms were modern and had a great shower. Lovely views of the harbour from the balcony and in the morning you get a great sunrise. The hotel lobby was nicely designed with old furniture to give you a feel of what the hotel looked liked in the past The restaurant served really good food in the evening and two night a week they do a Greek music night which was lovely to hear and see and as a quest you are allowed the sunbed free of charge on the beach.
This is a very good hotel perfect to relax and be surrounded by the Greek way of life.

Our first visit to Leros and everything here was perfect. The rooms were clean and well thought out. The food was excellent with big portions and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The beach is just across the road with plenty of beds abd shade. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Did not stay here but has a taverna for non guests. Lovely surroundings and meal delicious. Complementary cheese cake plus liqueur. Excellent service
