Kalidon Panorama Hotel in Kokkari

Beautiful hotel situated on the a hillside giving panoramic views of the coast. Just a 5 minute downhill stroll to lemonakia beach, where you will find two beach restaurants and sun loungers with umbrella to rent for 5-10€ for the day. A little further to the next beach tsamadou you will find navagos beach bar where the sun loungers are slightly more expensive 15-20€ and you will get food & drinks service to the bed. This island has the clearest water I have ever seen, recommend to get snorkles. The hotel offers shuttle busses for free to and from these beaches at set times during the day. The walk back up is steep hill and takes about 15 minutes. If you are in any way immobile a cheap taxi is also an option. Kokkari town is only 4-5 minutes per €7 taxi, or take the hotels shuttle bus service. The town is beautiful and has so many great restaurants with friendly staff.
The hotel staff were angels, incredibly kind and helpful, the were happy to help with anything we needed, we really felt at home. The room was clean and modern with plenty of storage place for our belongings, a big shower with great toiletries, and a Beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. The bed was very comfortable. On our first evening we came back from dinner to find extra chilled water and a fruit platter. A very kind touch. Breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice both cooked and cold/continental style. You eat breakfast overlooking the pool and coast. There is a bar and also lunch/pizza/snack food available all day as well.

You can arrange car rental through the hotel they bring it to the hotel for you, it cost just 70€ per day for an automatic for us, just be advised that if you want to pay card for the car you must pay a visit to their office in the town, but everywhere else we experienced offered card payment with ease. We did not need cash one single time on this holiday.

The hotel is 10/10. Small hotel, nobody rushing for sun beds or tables at breakfast, staff are hard working and calm and friendly. We will absolutely be back, couldn't recommend it highly enough.

A very clean hotel. Its location overlooking Kokkari is also magnificent. It has a pool. The only downside is that it doesn't have a contracted beach. I strongly recommend it.

Everything and anything about Kalidon. This hotel is spotless. The staff is amazing, especially lovely Maria and the view is breathtaking. They have free service buses during the day to the nearby beaches and Kokkari and it’s a short walk from Kokkari.

Truly paradise..beautiful well run hotel.The incredible Maria and all the staff looked after us very well. Very comfortable room..fabulous views from everywhere in the hotel.most enjoyable stay.Hiring a car to see the island is well worth it as the whole island is stunning.

Comfortable hotel with small beautiful room with a fantastic view at Kokkari and the sea. The breakfast is delicious and fresh and you get every day different pies and eggs.
You reach Kokkari and Lemonakia beach in a few minutes by feet.
The best experience in the hotel is the service and the nice guys staying behind the check in and the bar.

We stayed at Kalidon Panorama for our first anniversary. And it was awesome from the first moment. The hotel is placed at a panaromic place where you can have a great view and scenery. The rooms are clean and had enough space. The bar and breakfast were more than satisfactory. There is a shuttle to Lemonaki, Tsamadu and Kokkari center four times a day, which make it easier to transfer for those who dont have car.

I need to underline the staff. Maria is the queen. She helped a lot to make our holiday great. She supported on rental car, taxis etc. She suggested great places and make our last day pragmatic as much as possible allowing us using the shower, towels. I can wholeheartly recommend the hotel and definitely want to come back again.

Tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, quiet hotel. From the furniture to the soap, shampoo and towels used in the bathroom, every material used was carefully selected, high quality and useful. The beds were also very comfortable. The wifi worked very well in the rooms and other parts of the hotel. The breakfast was quite good. Although it is within walking distance of the best beaches of Kokkari (Tsamadou and Lemonakia beach), the hotel provides transportation at certain times during the day. It is about 15 minutes (1 km) away from Kokkari on foot. If you do not have a car and have difficulty walking, a taxi would be a good alternative. Many thanks to the friendly, helpful staff and dear Maria. I would love to come again.

I have to say we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. Situated in a beautiful place with stunning views over Kokkari bay and the lovely Lemonakia beach. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay so special, Maria and the team were so friendly and welcoming and a special mention to Dimitris the bar manager who has become a firm friend. Rooms were of a high standard, more than you would expect in Greece and cleaned every day by the hardworking cleaners. Lovely swimming pool and great breakfasts with a good choice of food to suit all tastes. The hotel is relatively small, which suited us as you have the chance to get to know other guests if you wish and it gives a homely feel. Going back next year and can’t wait.

Such a nice establishment with clean rooms, amazing views and lovely breakfast. The road to the hotel is not the best so that might be the only downside but it worths the view.

Exquisite Hotel on the beautiful isle of Samos
Best ever. Beautiful location with stunning views of Kokkari on the isle of Samos. Generous breakfast included. Our room was a superior double sea facing and worth the extra for the luxury . A 10-15 walk to the village - uphill on the way back- but very pleasant with minimal traffic. A shuttle bus is available daily to take you to the nearest coves which are delightful. Beaches are pebbly so rock shoes advised.
