Amalia Hotel Meteora

We had to cancel out trip due to farmer's strikes. Although the canclation occured after the grace period, the hotel manager contacted us to inform that due to the situations there would be no cancelation fee after all. We appreciated this immensely. We will definitely consider booking a stay there in the near future.

It's a pretty good resort hotel

A bit tired rooms but the pool and gardens are beautiful and the location is so quiet, still so close to Meteroa. Dinner though is like a school cantine.....nothing wrong with the food other that is is the same every day but the crowds that is eating at the same time makes the ambiance really bad. Also some table and chairs for having breakfast and dinner outside really should be an easy thing to solve

This is a tricky place to review. The first impression is of a very out dated hotel that feels like a visit to the past. The old carpets, the faded pictures hanging on the walls, the grand size and empty halls. Friendly staff and nice environment

Lovely hotel with great rooms & style. Just keep in mind it is not next to Meteora & you will ned a car to get there. However, when you have a rental car it is super convenient

We travelled at the lower season, but the hotel still gave us a welcoming feel. The location is excellent, easy walking to good restaurants and convenient for travelling by car.

this hotel caters for most tour group, is supposingly a preferred hotel. The room is really aged and run down. the breakfast is great full of selections.

The hotel location is good, but the air conditioner is not cold.

Just after entering the town, it is an old hotel with old facilities, but clean and sanitary. It is rare to have three beds that can sleep a family of four. The service staff are also very enthusiastic.

This hotel is in the small town of Kalambaka. The hotel is relatively old and has been renovated for a long time. The room is also very small. The room can see the monastery in the sky. The view in the morning and evening is good.

The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the stay was very comfortable. There is a buffet in the evening

It feels relatively old-fashioned, but very comfortable and the service is very good. The scenery is especially nice. If I come again, I will most likely choose this one.

Close to train station and the main Street in town, spacious room, bathroom is a bit dated but functional, overall good value

Amazing stay, the structure is really beautiful, the room comfortable and neat, and a really good breakfast. The staff was incredibly kind, nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay. Just one advice, the room was maybe missing of a stronger light, not really a problem for us, just sayin'. Surely, when we get back to Meteore, we will stay at Odysseon! Thanks for all

What a welcome we received when we arrived after hauling our cumbersome luggage up the hill to the hotel from the bus stop. We were met by a lovely member of staff who gave us cold towels and refreshing juices. The hotel is certainly quirky and has the charm of a mountain chalet. Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Incredible view from the (nice) swimming pool on the Météores. Except the coffee, the breakfast was very nice.

Fantastic The hotel property is so beautiful and the room was so spacious, we had an amazing view. Dinner at the restaurant and breakfast buffet was excellent, we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean. We loved the artwork on the walls and the relics throughout the hotel. The pool was in a picturesque area overlooking the mountains, along with breakfast in the morning with the same view. We would love to visit in the winter sometime. It would be the perfect setting for that area. Overall, a great experience.

Stayed in this hotel with a group. Room: basic and needs uplift desperately Bed is soft, poor lightings. Reception: good manners and kind Restaurant: good efficient waiters, Buffet dinner good choice of food. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel, as we were told, but it is decent. Reception area is spacious, the room was clean but incomplete - missing the other night table. The dinner was below par, the breakfast OK. The location is near the beginning of the main street. Our room on the first floor did not have a balcony.

Good enough, the showers are too small, too little room for four persons in one room

We paid for a room, they provided us a small apartment! We really love that place. :) The staff is very friendly, the room is comfortable and the location is super! the breakfast is good and tasty. We were with a dog (labrador) and paid 12 € per night for it. Recommend this lovely place - very close to the main street, free parking, good atmosphere and nice view.

Decent accommodation, could do with some improvements on some details. The breakfast was decent as well. A fair value for money.

At diner time, there was an unbearable noise generated by a group of young people. At no time, the person in charge of the dining room was able to draw their attention or those in charge of the group so that they would not disturb the rest of custumers. It sems to me lack of responsability of the hotel to allow these type of situación.
