Stayed for 2 nights as part of a small group tour of 14 people with our guide . Our tour company had asked for a room with a walk in shower . On asking Reception why this had not happened I was told it was possible but we would have no balcony. No offer to look at the room , maybe it has a terrace ? Not brilliant customer service . There was a very nice view from our room balcony , the beds & pillows...

This place has such a grand feel especially when you can sit on your balcony and look at the majestic views of Meteora and the surrounding town! There's quite a few facilities/activities to do in this hotel. Rooms were spacious and felt complete and the balconies weren't small and felt comfortable to hang around

Disappointed that a 5 star hotel feels the need to charge to use the pool. Have never ever before experienced this. Service at meals was not good and they continually ran out of food so you were always waiting for buffet to be replenished. But very nice rooms in a great locality.

Fantastic view from my room. The hotel had a lot of guest during my our stay but they were fast and efficient during check in and check out. Food was decent although a little pricey for what they have.

Stayed here as part of a two day guided tour of Delphi and meteora. Great service. In house food was good. Location was very good with great views. In room lighting could be less bright white lighting and more relaxing amber

I LOVE this hotel. Out of all the places we stayed in Turkey and Greece, I had been warned that this one wasn’t quite the same level. To the contrary, this was my very favorite. It was beautiful, not flashy, and lacked nothing. There was a simple elegance to the layout and atmosphere. It felt like many of the mountain resorts in the US, with a large “lodge” kind of feeling. We had to cancel out trip due to farmer's strikes. Although the canclation occured after the grace period, the hotel manager contacted us to inform that due to the situations there would be no cancelation fee after all. We appreciated this immensely. We will definitely consider booking a stay there in the near future.

It's a pretty good resort hotel

A bit tired rooms but the pool and gardens are beautiful and the location is so quiet, still so close to Meteroa. Dinner though is like a school cantine.....nothing wrong with the food other that is is the same every day but the crowds that is eating at the same time makes the ambiance really bad. Also some table and chairs for having breakfast and dinner outside really should be an easy thing to solve

This is a tricky place to review. The first impression is of a very out dated hotel that feels like a visit to the past. The old carpets, the faded pictures hanging on the walls, the grand size and empty halls. Friendly staff and nice environment

Lovely hotel with great rooms & style. Just keep in mind it is not next to Meteora & you will ned a car to get there. However, when you have a rental car it is super convenient

We travelled at the lower season, but the hotel still gave us a welcoming feel. The location is excellent, easy walking to good restaurants and convenient for travelling by car.

this hotel caters for most tour group, is supposingly a preferred hotel. The room is really aged and run down. the breakfast is great full of selections.

Just after entering the town, it is an old hotel with old facilities, but clean and sanitary. It is rare to have three beds that can sleep a family of four. The service staff are also very enthusiastic.

This hotel is in the small town of Kalambaka. The hotel is relatively old and has been renovated for a long time. The room is also very small. The room can see the monastery in the sky. The view in the morning and evening is good.

The hotel was ok. But at least in our room we didn’t have hot water and the internet does not work in the rooms. You have to go to the lobby. Dinner and breakfast were ok .

Stunningly beautiful hotel at the base of the Meteora monasteries. Gorgeous marble interior with luxurious lobby and spacious rooms. Bathroom tub was small and dangerously tilted, but friendly staff, magnificent ambiance, and delicious dinner more than made up for that. Outstanding meal of musaka, chicken and rice, and cake was served by delightfully funny and friendly chef/waiter. Highly recommend...

We stayed in this hotel for one night as a part of our tour to Meteora. Our room was fine, had a nicely renovated bathroom and a view on Meteora. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both good. Nothing to complain about!

A small hotel for the general public, with good value for money

I originally thought the hotel was pretty good, as I could see the hanging monastery, but soon after I entered the room, I was hit by a flying insect, not a mosquito. I had checked in this hotel through my tours. Dinner was good and staff is helpful when I need something. It is nearby central town. Very decent and nice hotel to stay. It has nice views of mountains.

Amazing stay, the structure is really beautiful, the room comfortable and neat, and a really good breakfast. The staff was incredibly kind, nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay. What a welcome we received when we arrived after hauling our cumbersome luggage up the hill to the hotel from the bus stop. Amazingly beautiful property within walking distance of tree he village center. Breakfast was great, and we loved the friendly staff.

The window opens to a beautiful mountain view with a small garden. The breakfast yogurt with honey is delicious. There are many varieties, most of which are freshly made. The chirping of insects and birds is very rustic. The faucets and shower facilities in the bathroom are old and need to be updated.

We were delighted to arrive at this beautifully appointed hotel. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The views were awe inspiring and the garden/patio areas just so lovely. Also our room was very clean and comfortable

Fantastic The hotel property is so beautiful and the room was so spacious, we had an amazing view. Dinner at the restaurant and breakfast buffet was excellent, we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean. We loved the artwork on the walls and the relics throughout the hotel. The pool was in a picturesque area overlooking the mountains, along with breakfast in the morning with the same view. We would love to visit in the winter sometime. It would be the perfect setting for that area. Overall, a great experience.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The area is beautiful and close enough to restaurants and things nearby. We did a 16km walk to visit all the monasteries which I would absolutely recommend. The hotel was wonderful and would advise anyone to stay here

Good hotel, very convenient location, near restaurants, mini markets and the trail to the monasteries. Room was nice, bed a little small for too adults (for our liking) but it was clean and the views were amazing. Whole place smelled super nice. Cleaning lady was very nice and recommend a place to eat that we liked a lot.

This place is the cutest little hotel at the foot of the mountains. Things started off really well when the receptionist welcomed us like we were old friends. She explained everything to us and even showed us our room and gave us options. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. The only down side was there was no kettle in the room or any facilities to make a drink. Hot drinks could be purchased. Complimentary tea and coffee would have made this stay excellent.

It is definitely not a 4 star hotel, as we were told, but it is decent. Reception area is spacious, the room was clean but incomplete - missing the other night table. The dinner was below par, the breakfast OK. The location is near the beginning of the main street. Our room on the first floor did not have a balcony.

We paid for a room, they provided us a small apartment! We really love that place. :) The staff is very friendly, the room is comfortable and the location is super! the breakfast is good and tasty. We were with a dog (labrador) and paid 12 € per night for it. Recommend this lovely place - very close to the main street, free parking, good atmosphere and nice view.

Decent accommodation, could do with some improvements on some details. The breakfast was decent as well. A fair value for money.

At diner time, there was an unbearable noise generated by a group of young people. At no time, the person in charge of the dining room was able to draw their attention or those in charge of the group so that they would not disturb the rest of custumers. It sems to me lack of responsability of the hotel to allow these type of situación.

Bed linen (mainly pillows) and breakfast need some upgrades, however the staff we’re super helpful and nice and the cleanliness of the hotel was superb. Also, all the air conditioning remote controls were removed from the rooms, which was not good for us.

Guesthouse Iridanos, how fortunate we were. We used private tour company and their 4 star option was full. I was worried about a 3 star option but it was the quaintest, cleanest most authentic feeling hotel we stayed at on our month long trip. It is owner operated and you can tell. We stayed here overnight during our visit to Meteora (which by the way means suspended in the air or lofty in Greek). In any case, this is a lovely, charming hotel. Our room was well decorated and spotless. The beds were comfortable, the shower nice and the WiFi very fast. The morning breakfast was very good. The owner, a Dutch lady married to a local, was very friendly and spoke perfect English...

A simple and functional hotel. For the reasonable price you get a clean and quiet room right in the center of Kalambaka. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely sufficient for a short stay. If you're lucky you will get a room with the view of the hills.

To all Israelis: I booked a night at the hotel for the 25th of October, without the possibility of cancellation, and the money was paid....for understandable reasons in light of what is happening in Israel these days, I contacted the hotel and asked, in light of the situation, to cancel the reservation and give me the money...I immediately received an encouraging and supportive reply from the hotel...

We stayed one night with my wife while on a group trip for 2 days. Excellent location, excellent staff with very kind behaviour , very nice rooms with soft beds, very good sound-proof walls and doors. Very nice dinner and excellent breakfast . We give 4/5 only due to the fact that bathroom was not as clean ( in blank spots) as it could be. Perfect choice .

For the value, this hotel is superb. Really clean rooms, friendly staff and the breakfast had a great selection. The location was perfect for exploring the area. The room was a good size and had all the facilities you would need including a kettle, towels, glasses and soaps.

Pleasant enough hotel with a good location in a small town. Beds could be more comfortable and the bathroom is very crammed. Nice patio seating with great views considering the area. Breakfast is okay but not great.

We only stayed here for one night. Reception staff was extremely nice and very informative. Hotel itself extremely spotless and I don't know why it has only three stars. The best quality hotel so far I stayed in Greece. Very tasty meals, plenty to choose from. Highly recommend to everyone.

The hotel is very nice and locate 8-10 min walk from the center and traine station or 15 min walk to bus station. Reception helped me to book local tour right after I arrive the hotel, very helpful.

The mountain view from our window was spectacular looking at the monasteries. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms were clean

I didn’t stay here but I paid 15€ to use their pool and had a fabulous time. The pool is well maintained and equipped with not only lounging chairs and bean bag chairs and umbrellas, but also two pavilions each with a dining table and chairs, as well as a small church—yes, a church! Incredible views of the rock formations in one direction and mountains in the other, among palms and other petty landscaping...

We stayed in a very clean room with a full view of the Meteora! The airconditioner worked perfectly and the mattress and pillows were most comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to find an iron in the cupboard which was very convenient . Breakfast was great and dinner was even better with a variety of greek traditional dishes.
