Gerani Studios in Astypalaia Town

We spent two weeks at Gerani Studios on Livadi Beach and were terribly sad to leave. This is a very well run family business and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel part of their family. Everything you could wish for in your room and if it's not there, the staff will happily fix that. 50m from the beach which is attended to by Gernai Studios. The restaurant is AMAZING thanks to Nickos and his team. We ate our way through nearly every dish! I can't wait to return.

Gerani Studios offers truly wonderful rooms — spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. They’re in a fantastic location, just a few steps from the sea. Froso is an amazing host who makes you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. We’ve actually visited Astypalaia two years in a row, not so much for the island itself, but mainly to stay again in these lovely rooms in this perfect spot. Highly recommended!

Very clean, well equipped studios near Livadi Beach. Lots of extra touches including a bottle of wine and snacks. Quiet and comfortable. Owner was very friendly, too.

Lovely family-run group of apartments, nestled amongst the trees, each with it's own front porch - almost like a mini-village. The family and staff are just wonderfully kind and attentive, always smiling and offering us local produce to try. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay in Astypalia
From the very start to the very finish we had a beautiful trip. The room was stunning with a very comfortable bed. The thoughtful touches and extras really made the trip amazing. The location is beautiful, easy access to the rest of the island through the AstyMove app with a stop right outside. Food at the restaurant was very nice with other great restaurants nearby as well. Overall the experience was fantastic and we had the best time.

Our stay at Gerani Studios was a very nice experience! Small but clean rooms, well-kept balcony, very convenient outdoor shower if someone prefers to wash outside, welcome with breakfast items and a bottle of wine. Quiet environment with access to the very beautiful beach of Livadi (50m to be exact separated us from the water), the owners' tavern is excellent with a variety of food (from delicious homemade dishes to fresh fish). All combined with the good mood and smile of the owners and staff, who were always willing to serve. Highly recommended for quiet family holidays. Practically, the location is the best to stay on the island, because it is a 20' walk from the town (4' by car), has many nice shops for drinks, food and breakfast, a very nice sea, a parking space (and electric car charging). Staying at Gerani definitely added to our excitement for the island!

I can highly recommend the Gerani Studios. I had a perfect stay from start to finish mostly down to Frozzo who is a kind, friendly and helpful host As a solo traveler arriving very late at night Frozzo offered to pick me up from the ferry. Something I really appreciated. The studios are beautifully appointed and fully equipped should you feel the urge to eat in. I can’t imagine why anyone would with such a great choice of restaurants in Astypalaia. The studios are a 5 minute walk from the town beach and benefit from a stunning view. Lovely to sit on the balcony with a glass or two. Definitely visit Portakali beach bar as the service is great and the ice cream even better! Enjoy
