A gem of a stay
A little gem of a hotel at a perfect location. Vey much enjoyed the view, the beakfast overlooking the park and sea as well as a swim in the little beach just beneath.

Very pleasant and cozy "old style hotel on the beach". Relatively small room, minimal amenities, reasonable breakfast- but friendly and straightforward service and good location.

Nice hotel in lovely Greek town. Close to beach and easy walk into town. We stayed 2 nights for wedding. Breakfast good. Nice atmosphere in bar with music. Only problem was air conditioning didn’t work well. When we returned from wedding the air conditioning unit had been replaced and there was dust everywhere- it was 3am so we just had to clean up ourselves- bit disappointing

Wonderful stay!
This was our second stay. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view is amazing. We love the proximity to the beach and restaurants. A great holiday!

Fantastic location and staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast had few options but high quality and home made. The rooms were clean, but could use some renovation.

Designer- recently refurbished, comfortable and cozy. (almost) has it's own park and small beach (complete with beach bar and umbrellas). In the middle of everything without the hassle of the crowded center. Think all rooms have sea-view, some have ample terraces. Great breakfast

We have loved the Karystion hotel for many years largely because of the lovely staff and the wonderful breakfasts. However there has been a change of ownership and though many of the long term staff are still there something has been lost in the change to a buffet breakfast. Breakfast used to be a wonderfully orchestrated affair with lots of changes. One thing the breakfast never had was the delicious Greek bread served elsewhere but the other dishes made up for that and the rolls were warm ( pre baked). Now the buffet is very limited with good scrambled eggs but dreadful rolls and awful sausage rolls. The delightful staff look lost and unhappy and there needs to be a real rethink of breakfast. Good Greek loaves to cut would be a start. The location and the staff are still charming.
