Xanthippi Hotel Apartments in Aegina Town

The first picture on the website shows fetched umbrellas with lounge, chairs, and the beach behind it. Did not see that anywhere where we were staying. They want you to think the beach is very nice, but it was OK.

The staff was very friendly. The apartment was very clean. It has access to a quiet little beach. That is really nice a little bit rocky FYI.
Just around the corner, you have plenty of options for dining even a couple of supermarkets
The place is easy to find and perfectly located to go around the island to visit.

We booked last minute and had an early check-in. Was very easy with Trip.com.
We had a blocked shower drain with our first shower and they moved us to a different room-fast. This was great! We slept well on comfortable bedding. The balcony was comfortable with captain's chairs and a large table. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, bread and cheese and cold cuts. Eggs and a fresh salad with a meat pie. It was presented on a patio with good shade.

The property has an ocean view and actually faces Athens-pretty to see the lights at night. The grounds have a terrace for sunbathing, beautiful rosemary hedges, pomegranate trees and veggie garden spaces-very nicely done. The beach is at the bottom of the hill-not a bad walk-2 minutes. The beach tables/umbrellas were not set up for the hotel as it is officially shoulder season but we pulled down some lounge chairs for our beach time.
Make sure if you come here to take the Souvala Ferry as it is walking distance to the property. We arrived at the Aegina Town ferry and rented a car-we wanted one for the trip anyway.
Best of all was Debbie-the English version of her Greek name-she was front desk manager and was very welcoming and informative. Her English is good and she is working on it constantly. We will be back to this little Shangri-la hopefully soon.

The apartments are in close proximity to both the beach and restaurants.There is a fruit and vegetable garden on the property! Everything we could need was accounted for.

Just returned from a lovely stay! The staff are soooo lovely, the food is AMAZING especially the fig pizza, the room was clean and the bed is comfy, cleaning staff came everyday to take rubbish and top up loo roll! Air con was spot on! I have no idea why this hotel only has 2 stars I would say its 4 star 100% the only thing missing was a swimming pool! We had our 1 year old little girl with us and the cot provided was sturdy and comfy, staff even changed her bed sheet halfway through our 4 day stay! They also have highchairs which is ideal :) the beach which has reserved beds and umbrellas is a short 3 min walk. P.s make sure you try the pistachio parfait icecream they have, we tried a lot of pistachio icecream in aegina and this hotel had the BEST one in my opinion

Excellent hotel, I highly recommend it, there was a small issue with the internet connection.
The connection was slow and the network was not stable, the hotel garden is excellent, the hotel is literally next to the sea.

Beautiful people, steps from beach. Clean room. Lovely staff. The breakfast and restaurant were delicious.

Even though this hotel is away from the Aegina port, it's only 15-20mins drive. I regret not renting a car to get around the island, but the hotel staffs are very helpful that they helped us call taxi whenever we needed. We will definitely stay there again if we ever go to Aegina Island again.
