We had a really good stay at the hotel. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very relaxed. The swimming pool is perfectly chilled and a good size. Breakfast is good and the bar is great

The minibus that ran from the hotel was so useful and only charged €1 per person. We will definitely be back next year and hoping to stay for 2 weeks rather than 1

We had a lovely holiday at the Melidron. Eva surprised us with bubbly, flowers and a personal cake on our wedding anniversary - lovely - thank you. The hotel was peaceful clean with a relaxed pool area and garden

Comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel. Lovely and friendly staff. Amazinv infinity pool with pool bar. Great location with tavernas and beach on your doorstep and only 10 mins walk into the centre of Skala.

Breakfast was OK but so many wasps both inside and outside. Pool area is lovely and the location of the hotel was perfect for me

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Melidron. The new owners are very chilled and this reflects on our time spent there. The breakfast was exactly the same and worked for us

Rooms are basic but comfortable - which is reflected in the star rating/room rate, they are spotlessly cleaned everyday and have everything you need including air conditioning (included in the price)

We stayed in room 106 the views are breathtaking, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, there is a fridge/freezer and a kettle. Breakfast was nice and the staff are very attentive

Great location, with amazing views, there are quite a few steps to get down to the pool. They offer car hire from the hotel and booked us a boat trip. I went with my 2 sisters and friend for a week

This is my second stay here, I came in June 24 with my two adult daughters and this time, just with my husband. I honestly cannot fault this hotel, Alex and his family work very hard to make your stay the best it can be

My mum has arthritis, she was able to take a slow walk down to the beach but could not manage the walk back as it is uphill, this was not a problem because the hotel provide transport to and from the beach/square

Lunch is also good, they do stop serving food at 4, but there is a great restaurant down the road. The beach is not far, but it is all it is downhill. The hotel offer a free shuttle bus to and from the beach

This is my second stay here and it won't be the last. This small hotel is just perfect for our needs, yes it's only a 2* but it really is a great place to stay

The infinity pool with un-interrupted views of ionian sea and mountain tops of neighbouring islands allows for relaxation is large enough for length swimming

The service team are outstanding, no request is a problem, and they will take the time to notice your preferences and ensure they are met without asking. 10/10 Overall a thoroughly enjoyable and refreshing place to stay

Lovely clean modern sunbeds and plenty of umbrellas but no mad dash to the pool each morning to reserve sun beds there are plenty to go round

For those that don’t use the pool for exercise or like a hot tub temperature/style pool they have this adjacent to the main pool. Clean and modern gym facilities with air conditioning

The air conditioned rooms are modern and spacious with plenty of wardrobe drawer and hanging space. The cleaning could not be faulted and the views from the balcony were amazing

From first arrival where we were greeted at the entrance steps to the heartfelt good byes from the service team the entire stay experience was fantastic

We stayed at Odysseus Palace and had a great experience. Bill (the owner) is a very kind and charismatic person who made you feel welcome and also really put an effort into making sure you had everything you need

Loving this place… big room, living room, 2 balconies, sea and Mountain View, 2 tv’s, they make a great dinner (pizza, salads and mushroom chicken with fries). And they are the cutest people! I will be back

It’s an old hotel that surely could use an upgrade several places but it’s well kept, clean and most importantly the air conditioning worked as the temperature outside was very high

The rooms were amazing and very spacious. Our room had an upstairs as well so it tops it off with some space between the adult and the children. The decor is cozy yet professional and the room we stayed in was very clean

Reception not always manned but they know when you are arriving and we're quick to sort a blocked shower drain. Weather just right 29c would definitely comeback

City view! Room 101 don’t look at any of the city just of a dodgy ugly air conditioning unit! Lovely room, not a lot of storage but made do, cleaned daily by very friendly cleaner, great location close to everything, great breakfast next door in the old village, all in all great week spent in skala, always chose sea view or street view room

The old Village restaurant where you go for breakfast was exceptional. The food was the best in the village and the staff were so friendly and accomodating. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the room

First thing that struck us when we arrived was just how clean every inch of the hotel was - both inside the rooms and in the communal areas! The snack bar is reasonably priced and the food is perfect poolside fare. The hotel has plenty of parking but is easy walking distance to the beach via a path through the bamboo. It is an easy walk into skala town too

There was a fridge in the wardrobe although I had to turn it off at night as it was too noisy. Nice big pool area, always sunbeds available. The staff are nice, especially the reception staff

Especially Evelyn - she was an absolute ANGEL and made so much effort to ensure we were happy and had everything we could want and more! I would say it would be beneficial to hire a car as there isn’t much close by and with the temperatures in the high 30s you should ensure it has air conditioning! The town was quite a walk from the hotel so we took advantage of the hotel bus which ran morning - evening. You just need to book at reception, the staff were always extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful

We booked via Jet2 and I was a little apprehensive regarding the rooms, but hey ho let's give it a go! On arrival (almost midnight) the bar was still open and we were quickly checked in and given a welcome drink by Sia, who seems to be on hand 25 hours a day

Although not luxurious it was quite spacious with 2 balconies, 1 facing the rear garden and the other side/front facing, both were a good size. The room had a fridge and a small 2 ring electric hob and sink
