Very good place. We spent 2 weeks in August. The room was clean, spacieux and quiet. Sun beds are usually available around a large swimming pool. Breakfast could be improved. Staff is nice and professional.

I had a lovely stay at the Melidron. Yes the rooms are a little tired but I had a comfortable stay and slept really well. Housekeeping lady was lovely and did a great job. There is a limited option of parking in front of the hotel, there is a one way main street directly under your windows and it can get busy sometimes. The breakfast wasn't anything extra but there is a menu and you can choose from things like avocado toast or an omellet etc. The breakfast thing is that one missing star. They are some of the kindest and loveliest people I've met during my travels in Poros. Always a smile, always helping me, my phone died they helped charge it, I needed directions the helped me get to my destination. I come back all the time to support such nice people. Really underrated hotel, very comfortable with everything you need! Breakfast was awesome so all in all great value and fantastic service! The only thing I’d change is the shower curtain but it’s really a minor. The pool is amazing with a full bar and foodservice alongside you can just chill the whole day before taking an easy stroll to town for some amazing restaurants and nightlife.

Have just returned from a wonderful two week stay at the Riviera, booked via "On the Beach" in the UK. It was our first visit to Kefalonia, and we could not have picked a better place for our stay. Lovely place to stay on the outskirts of Scala. The shortcut through the bamboo path is so useful. Our room was spacious and quiet with a lovely sea and pool view. The staff are kind and helpful and the breakfast is delicious.
