Pink Palace Beach Resort in Agios Gordios

Coming into this experience, we had no idea what to expect—but from the very beginning, we were blown away. Magda, the lovely owner of the Pink Palace, personally picked us up from Corfu Town, going out of her way in a way she absolutely didn’t have to. From that moment on, her warmth, authenticity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. That same energy radiated through every staff member, all of whom were kind, present, and truly invested in creating a meaningful experience. We have never encountered such thoughtful and heartfelt service. There are truly no words to describe the space and practice through each yoga class. The collage of yoga styles each instructor emulated was refreshing and reflected the level of experience and education within each teachers background. We were particular struck by how each class accommodated every level of yogi, ensuring everyone walked with a meaningful practice. Although this retreat differs from other more structured and prestigious options, we could not have been more pleased and blown away by how much the place and service speaks for itself. All the other reviews say to leave your expectations at the door, which could not be more true. Photos and words cannot do this place justice, for the feeling present in each aspect of the Pink Palace is beyond words. This retreat may differ from more traditional or “luxury” experiences, but that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. The advice to “leave your expectations at the door” is absolutely right—because what you gain here goes far beyond anything you could anticipate. Photos and descriptions don’t do it justice; it’s something you have to feel. We’ve experienced our share of high-end travel, but this was, without question, the most meaningful “luxury” we’ve encountered. The real richness comes from the people—the shared meals, conversations, and moments of connection between guests and staff. There’s a genuine sense of community, safety, and belonging that’s incredibly rare. We left feeling lighter, stronger, and deeply grateful. This is a place that stays with you. I would recommend it to any traveler looking for something real, grounding, and truly unforgettable.

The yoga retreat at the Pink Palace Corfu is absolutely amazing. I have had an incredible time. I was a little apprehensive as a solo traveller but I had no need to worry. The hotel and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious with lots of choice. The twice daily yoga was very good. The optional included trips, hiking and kayaking were great fun. I made some great friends from many different countries. I cannot praise this holiday enough. Absolutely wonderful experience. I will be back for another holiday

I was looking for a yoga-focused holiday with flexible dates in a lovely location. Well, I found it. No, it's not a five star hotel and yes, the hills are a mission, but the staff (especially Tim), the yoga instructors, evening meals, the daily (but optional) activities, the seaview from all the rooms MORE than make up for it. The hotel transfers are another massive bonus, as is the free bottled water (as much as you want). Also worth mentioning that there's a massive fridge and aircon in each room. I'm a big fan of an on-site pool, and the fact the Pink Palace doesn't have one nearly put me off. BUT there are two neighbouring hotels (literally 2 mins away), both with lovely pools, where you can swim as long as you buy a drink/food. I'm a solo traveller and found it very easy to make friends thanks to the regular trundles up and down the hill to classes, the communal dinners and the daily activities. My personal favourite was the hike to nearby village for homemade lemonade, led by the legendary Ellie. That said, there's no pressure to join in if you need some downtime. Agios Gordios has a lovely, sweeping, sandy beach and the sea is sublime. I saw flying fish twice! The surrounding area is great for hiking and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance from the Pink Palace. I want to be honest and say the showers in the hotel are pretty terrible, and the wifi can be dodgy. But in the whole scheme of things, it didn't matter. TIP: The mosquitos are hungry! Take plenty of mozzie stuff.

I stayed for over a month at the hotel (not the beach property) and found the PEACE I was looking for. The Pink Palace has a very youthful, sociable vibe, but I found I could have my privacy any time I wanted it, as well as a simply gorgeous view, a clean room, and free wifi. The property's sandy beach with beautiful views and a crystalline ocean is easily accessible. What made my stay in paradise special was the way I was treated: I found the staff as well as the owner to be friendly, witty, and above all, KIND and accommodating. The grocery stores, shops, and restaurants in the village, nearby on foot, gave me the sense that I was sharing a WAY OF LIFE - and long live it! I don't think this kind of experience could be had by staying at one of the big hotels, which are pretty self-contained. The Pink Palace is great value for your money: PARADISE!

Super simple clean accomodation with ocean view, helpful, efficient front desk staff, kitchen staff helpful and great breakfast and gorgeous vegetarian dinners, amazing cool teachers passionate about yoga engaging very approachable and fun, Magda the owner so accomodating, and finally I met amazing other solo travellers!

My second trip to the fabulous Pink Palace for a yoga retreat. This place is really magic. All the staff are warm, friendly, efficient and enthusiastic. The activities run are fun and well executed. The food is plentiful, tasty, and caters to a wide variety of dietary needs. The yoga has, once again, been of a very high standard with several excellent teachers teaching 3 classes a day and working with yoga students of all levels. The place is scrupulously clean and the welcome is warm set in the lush surroundings of Ayios Gordios alongside its beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. We've watched some spectacular sunsets from the yoga shala overlooking the sea. Excellent location mid-island from which to explore the rest of Corfu. I know I will be returning here again and again. ❤️

I spent 4 days on a yoga retreat here and absolutely loved every minute. The yoga teachers were excellent and provided a good variation in the different types of yoga. The scenery was stunning, and the sea was fabulous to swim in. The hotel itself was basic, very clean, plenty of hot water and very comfortable. The food was excellent quality, fresh and very good. And what really made it was how friendly and helpful the staff were from the lovely driver who ferried us around to the restaurant staff, and especially Tim on reception and a big thank you to Magdelana who run the yoga, who couldn’t have been more lovely. It was also extremely good value for money. Thank you all for a very special few days

Extra info after my review of yesterday: The people of the front desk were really friendly and helpful. I got picked up at the airplane by a friendly, good driver and felt welcome in the hotel immediately. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view on the bay, sea and sunset. Also the food ( breakfast and diner) was good with a great choice of salads, fruits and vegetables, which I like. The servants were as well very friendly! I had a great stay!

I was at the Pink Palace for an 8 day yoga / meditation retreat, and I had the best experience. All of the staff were professional and always helpful, and very accommodating. Loved it. The food was delicious!! There were several yoga instructors that afforded me the opportunity to learn different approaches to techniques. I want to thank all of the yoga instructors individually but I don't remember all your names. Much love to you all. I will be back. Namaste 🙏
