Disappointing. Not as shown in the photos or descriptions. Good location, but horrible tourist town and poor accommodation

I was apprehensive after reading some poor reviews but overall this was a lovely holiday. Agreed, there are some bits that could do with a freshen up, some broken tiles and some tired looking fixtures and fittings, but these had zero impact on our holiday. We had an excellent week with friends at this wonderful place. The food and drinks are excellent, and every member of the staff is extremely kind, helpful, and professional.

We were from the 16th to the 29th. September at the Akron Seascape Resort in Corfu. We were very nicely received there and the first impression is breathtaking with the beautiful view of the Canal d'Amour. Pool nice room ok was cleaned everyday. Also if anything went wrong they sorted it straight away. Receptionists were lovely, waiters looked unhappy in their job. Bar men could be rude at times eg I forgot to ask for no ice in my coke. All he did was tip it back in out of the glass before filling with coke. He had a go at me. Refused to give me a decent size glass for coke. Only 2 small child size cups...

Check-In was easy on our late arrival, we was given a packed supper and water which was welcomed. The room was at the front of the building overlooking the pool with a sea view and had a balcony. After our holiday got cancelled we booked golden sands and we were not disappointed! Reading reviews and not expecting too much for our money we were very pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure what those leaving bad reviews expect! This is a budget 3 star hotel and with that in mind it exceeded my expectations! Just got home from a wonderful stay. Really friendly and helpful staff but most importantly was the gentle pace, lots of space and beautiful suit. We had everything we could want at a great price. Would go bck in a heartbeat.

Very nice hotel to stay in! It is located on the quite side so it's perfect for couples. Staff including the owner himself is very attentive and they always make sure that everything is to your satisfaction. The area is well maintained with green lawn and all the blooming plants. It started with a warm welcome and and and very nice goodbye. We stayed there for 7 days and all the People there have been so ice and friendly. Restia is also much netter than we expected when we have seen the pictures in the booking platform. We had a Suite with own pool and garden (with green guests 😁) and it was so cosy and relaxing. Suites excellent. Staff superb. Food ok - cooked breakfast cold most days. Get this sorted guys and defo 5 stars!!
