La Riviera Barbati Seaside Apartments & Villas in Barbati

We had a lovely holiday in La Riviera. We stayed in a 2 bed garden view apartment. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious with amazing Air Con. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. The staff at the office were so helpful on both our arrival and departure days. They collected our luggage and brought it to and from our accommodation. We never had an issue with getting loungers at the pool no matter what time we went down to the pool. The poolside restaurant/bar was also really good and the staff there were great! The only negative would be the steps down, there are quite a few, so not ideal if you have any mobility issues, but we didnt have a problem with it. We would definitely go back.

We loved La Riviera, our 1 bed apartment was situated on the lower level so was a quick walk to the beach but a much more strenuous uphill haul to the main road with supermarkets and restaurants, not ideal if you’re unfit! That’s the only reason I didn’t rate it 5* The apartment had recently been refurbished and was absolutely immaculate. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans and utensils to enable you to do as much cooking as you wanted. Beach and bath towels changed twice in the week and bedding once. Other than that there is no regular cleaning schedule. Staff at the office were helpful and organised transport of our luggage to the transfer pick up point We booked this holiday with Tui and from their description assumed that the pool and taverna snack bar were for sole use of apartment users, but they are actual open to the public so do get quite busy. If you prefer a pool to swimming in the sea this may be a concern for you Beach is pebbly but sea is glorious, beach beds at the Nautilus taverna were 10euros for 2 beds and an umbrella - they were a bit basic but if you walk about 100 yards along the beach you get a more comfortable beach club vibe at Piedra del mar. the beds and umbrella are “free” but you have to spend 15 euros per person (30 for 2) on food and drink, not excessive If you spend most of the day there. Overall a good experience we will return and would recommend

We have just returned from our holiday at Riviera sea view. We stayed in villa blue 5 which was amazing! I had previously emailed the lovely ladies on reception to ask for a specific villa & they were very kind and gave us the exact villa I asked for! The villa was so modern with everything you needed for a home from home feel. The pool looked out over the sea & was a great size for swimming & the kids loved it! Coffee lovers was just over the road that did the most amazing breakfasts & the snack bar & beach were a 2 min walk downhill. The pebble beach was beautiful & quiet & lovely for swimming/snorkelling. There was a handful of great restaurants and a couple of bars & supermarkets in Barbarti but that was it. The resort next to barbarti (ipsos) was a lot busier. Overall we had the most chilled week in a beautiful villa with the added bonus of our own pool! Thank you for a wonderful stay ☺️

We booked this holiday using TripAdvisor past feedback. Thanks to those who posted, we had a truly wonderful holiday. The 1 bed duplex with pool was excellent. Good quality beds and furniture, with nice extras, pool towels, and bathrobes....well maintained and spotlessly clean. Air con and WiFi worked great. Quiet spot in lane at foot of hill, with key coded gate. Car parking. Short walk to Nautilus taverna and beach. Brilliant taverna and nice beach. There were more (v good) tavernas than expected, esp. on the main road, so there was no shortage of choice. Regular cleaning, bed change, fresh towels made for extra comfort. Lovely cleaning staff. The steps up to the road, all 90 of them, were a challenge in the heat, so be aware if you're not mobile. Or fit! The office offered help with suitcases on the day we left. Nothing was a problem for them. The other challenge was mosquitoes, so come prepared! If you are looking for beach based quiet resort with nice places to eat and a relaxed social scene, then this place is worth visiting.

We booked this through TUI. We had the 2 bed with the pool. The pool was perfect for cooling off as it was very hot! The aircon was spot on and made life a lot more comfortable. The apartment was clean, well appointed & nicely decorated. We mixed making our own food with visits to local restaurants and tavernas. The apartment was set in peaceful surroundings and cleverly designed foliage which gave a sense of privacy. The walk up to the main road is very steep and may not suit tge less mobile. Otherwise would definitely reccomend

What a beautiful place! Just arrived back after a week of complete peace and relaxation. Our family, myself, husband, daughter 17 and son 11 had the best holiday. If you are looking for a quiet resort, with nice restaurants and close to the beach (pebbles) then this is the place for you. We were fed up of the all inclusive, sun bed wars, so opted for a 3 bedroom villa with private pool and we are now converted! It suited our family, allowing our daughter to get up in her own pace (usually midday!) and our son the freedom to get in the pool as early as he wanted! The accommodation is very well maintained. Our three bedrooms were very spacious, all with air conditioning- which was needed in the 33 degree heat of Corfu! As well as 3 bathrooms. A well fitted kitchen with everything you can ask for. Pool / beach towels supplies too. Maids came in twice in the week to clean and change towels. Nice living space with smart TV for Netflix and YouTube. Sun beds and outside seating area, also plenty of shade if you need it. Our originate pool was great, my only criticism is that it could have been cleaned / maintained a little better. Some sand in the bottom and a few broken tiles - but that’s if I’m being extremely picky. If you can look past that, you’ll see it’s a fabulous place to stay. Our villa was near the top end of the resort, so a 5 min walk down many steps to get to the beach. The restaurants were up the steps. I would avoid if you have mobility issues and they can be a struggle in the heat and are very steep in places. The beach was also like the surrounding area, quiet. White pebbles make beach shoes a must. The sea beautifully clear and there are some water sport activities a 10 min walk away. They’re a 5 or 6 beach side restaurants which we visited a couple for lunch. There is also a small pool on the site, we didn’t use this as we had our own pool, but when we passed it going to the beach, it was never over crowded. The evening restaurants were good, we found they all offered similar items, Greek dishes, seafood, pasta, pizza etc. Though we didn’t have a bad meal. There are no dedicated footpaths, so care needs to taken, especially at night along the roads. There are a couple of gift shops and supermarkets that offer all the essentials along with a couple of bakeries. If you are looking for a holiday away from crowds, then this is ideal. We hope to return in the future.
