Sidari Vibes in Sidari

Horrible experience, rooms were incredibly dirty ( full of hair from the previous guests) and when we complained, they solved it by doing a whole 15 second sweep with a broom. They clean the room every 2 days with a mop that smells like it hasn't been changed in 5 years, and most likely don't change the water for every room and it makes the floor smell like human waste. All the doors squeak and you can't go to the bathroom without waking up everybody in the room. The shower is very small and uncomfortable (around 0.9 m2) and is conveniently missing from the pictures. Don't be fooled by the room pictures, they are heavily modified to hide the deplorable state of the accommodation.

My family was separated to two rooms either end of the building ,my Aircon didn't work till 2 days before we was flying home oaid for 7 days even tho I reported 3 tines , my balcony was always flooded so couldn't sit out , and lboth our fridges didn't work properly or didn't work at all ,it's certainly shouldn't be a 3* but should be a 1*. The only consultation is our room we got the sun morning till night it was a sun trap.. The main ***** isn't that close as was stated previously, if you have mobility issues ,it's no good we hired a car for that reason . Certainly won't be booking there again

This is definitely not 3 star......more like 2 or 1 star......We booked a 1 bedroom apartment, there were 4 single beds in the bedroom. It was more like a hostel/:dormitory. The beds were very uncomfortable. We were there 12 days & after 10th day I had to leave the Maids a note to change our bedding. There were no smoke detectors in the room & the light shade from the wall light was missing. The floor tiles were chipped & the fridge was very old. There was a table in the kitchen but no chairs & no toaster. The pool area however was nice albeit on the main road. It was a 15 to 20 minutes walk into the *****. I registered my concerns about the room with first choice & suggested a representative visited the property to review the 3 star rating. I appreciate I did not pay a lot of money however I do expect certain standards as the norm like cleanliness & Health &;Safety To be adhered to ie smoke alarms &proper light fittings. The property needs to be re assessed by First Choice & the star rating to actually reflect the standard.There is no way I would ever book lower than a 3 star which this property should be rated as a 2 or 1 star. I would not recommend this property unless you are happy staying inban hostel/ dormitory type room. There wasnt a single picture on the wall, the decor was very bland & dated, in need of renovation.

Where do I begin. TUI had this as 3 star rating and personally this place is not even 1 star rating. TUI's has definitely put its reputation inline , this place should never be on TUI's website. Place is in the main road with both way traffic, so very noisy at all time. Reception and pool bar is the same so there is no privacy when they ask for your passport details etc. Our room was 203 or 204 (I think). This is up the stairs, all outdoor and there is no lift which is fine but we arrived after heavy rain and this was a hazard in itself. No mention of slip etc. Room was beyond disgusting, everything was falling apart. Dead mosquitos all over the room with blood stain. Doors and walls were painted to cover just the spots. Floors were cracked, dent and very dirty, painted tiles, chipped tiles all over the floor. Room smelt damp, stale and not even sure what else as it was very strong and sickly. Bed sheets had stains, dead bugs and hair. Inside furniture's were covered with stains. All around the room had cracks and moulds. Kitchen area was all rusty and mouldy. Fridge looked like it came from a skip, smelt horrendous. Bathroom/ toilet was covered in mould and rust. Toilet was leaking. Outside furniture was again full of stains. The beach is at least a 20-minute walk, the "*****" for bars, restaurants, etc. was a lethal 20 to 30 minute walk on roads without any paths with traffic zooming by. We spent around 9 hours on this room while we complained to TUI, over the phone/emails and was eventually moved to much better hotel. Please stay away from this place at any cost.

Reading the reviews, had we not recently stayed at the SIDARI VIBES, we would think ‘each to their own’ . Paint floating in the pool, smelly unkept room(s) , we had four. Rude abusive staff. TUI, you’re reputation doesn’t fit this place. AWFUL.

Our apartment was very disappointing. Tiles all cracked, under fridge was filthy. We had to ask for clean towels mid holiday and we were handed rags. The pool was very shabby paint peeling and situated on main rd so very noisy. Would never go back

I always believe in you get for what you pay for and I’m very realistic about what to expect. And even with basic I always expect clean which should be a standard for any place. Unfortunately this is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in, it’s advertised as 3T with TUI. Our room wasn’t 1*. It smelt of stale smoke and damp, it was dirty and the cleaning service was light. There is so much I could write but I’ll just cover the main reasons for my one star rating: The bad smell - clung to our clothes and now we’re home everything has to be washed (eg clothes not worn) and even the cases smell. I had to buy air fresheners and candles to try to remove the smell whilst there. The cleanliness - the room was dirty, the walls were filthy, the sheets were stained, one towel had a big clump of hair in and the towels/curtains etc all smelt too. The cleaning service - the bedding did not appear to be replaced once during the week. The towels were changed twice. The floor was cleaned once on day 3 which helped with an initial sick smell. Extra costs - whilst this is meant to be included in the holiday price, we were charged this on check in. Air con was an extra cost too. There was no safe nor no smoke detectors. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience. We spent most of our time at Louvros accross the road where the experience was something else.

I'm afraid to say this has got to be the worst experience of Greek hospitality we have encountered, and we have been to many Greek Island!. We arrived late afternoon, and although the room was ready, we were made to wait till 3 pm. to check in. It was only around 20 minutes, but after the arduous coach ride and the heat, it seemed like forever! The room, oh my days, it was like a bit of a prison cell type feeling! Stains on the walls, stains on the bed, painted tiles, chipped tiles all over the floor, not great. We rang Tui to see if it was viable to be moved, but as we were only there for 4 days, we were told it could take up to 48 hours to process, thats if they could find somewhere to move us to, so decided to rough it! The location of the hotel wasn't great either. The beach is at least a 20-minute walk, the "*****" for bars, restaurants, etc. was a lethal 20-minute walk on roads without any paths with traffic zooming by. There were no available beds around the pool on the 1st morning, so we asked if there was any more that could be put out. The reply was no for health and safety. So basically, they wanted us to sit in the seating area until beds became available! We asked if they could point us in the direction of other amenities we could use, and there was a shrug of the shoulders, no help what so ever. We spotted a place across the road, so we asked if we could use the pool and beds. They were brilliant, so welcoming and kind, and the food and drinks we purchased were lovely, too. If they had rooms available, we would have certainly moved over to them. Louvros accommodation/ cafe bar was fab. They saved our holiday! Can't recommend them enough. We love Greece, and of course, this has not put us off visiting, but definitely will not be returning to Sidari vibes hostel!
