This hotel does not meet the standard of a 5-star rating. The rooms are in very poor condition, especially bathrooms, where plaster is peeling off. While ther is a wide variety of food available, the hotel location by the see is difficult to access do to narrov and steep roads. Additionally, the water in the see is very dirty in the affternoons.

We loved our stay at Pelekas Monastery as a family of four. Our family room which had a sea view balcony was actually bigger than we thought from the photos and had a partition door to divide the kids on their twin single sofa beds and us.
