Where to stay in Kassiopi

Had a brilliant holiday. Great room, though the shower was a bit feeble. Staff are great and the beaches are great too. Strangely, the entrance to the hotel was in Greece, according to our phones, and our room was in Albania. Make sure you know which bit you're in before using your phone cos using it in Albania costs a fortune!! And there's a time difference, so we nearly missed one of the events...

We had a great time in this resort and its in a really good location to beaches and local shops. The main attraction is the beautiful cats who chose this resort as their home. Staff were great with a special mention to Mateo and Gaga two best animators we have ever encountered. They are both welcoming, friendly and have a true skill in building relationships with guests. We recently stayed at this resort during the school vacation season, and it was a fantastic experience! The location was stunning, about an hour's drive from the city centre. The resort was bustling with families and kids, which added to the lively atmosphere. The hotel is just what you expect from an all inclusive, buffet better than many I’ve been to, staff very friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be the drinks selection being a bit limited on the all inclusive but otherwise great, with good pool areas for adults and kids. The kids club was great. Great location on north east of the island. Beautiful views across to Albania coastline. Nice local secluded beach with very safe water. Two very nice pools. Amazing food options and great quality. Rooms very nice. Ideal for young families and adults.

Fabulous little place within 5 minutes walk to the harbour very clean with a large balcony which was lovely. Cleaning lady is absolutely adorable and comes every morning. Only negative is quite limited amenities for self catering although we didn't plan on cooking anyway it might be an issue for those who do. Would definitely return in the future

Everything fantastic. The room was located less then 5 min to the main square and 10 min to the beach. The room was clean and it had a nice balcony.

Close to everything by foot. Great small shops with quality clothes, souvenirs, jewellery, shoes etc. Great tavernas, restaurants, cafes. The Port is lovely to hang out at. Beaches are a short walk.

Nice and clean apartments. Very good service. The pool is small but it was enough for everyone. We were able to get groceries from the market next door. Plus the kids got nice gifts on our last day there.

Super friendly cleaning lady who also is the contact person. Apartment is located 5-8 min walk from where everything is at but it's still quiet at night. Clean place with all the basic things you would look for (towels, bar soap, basic kitchen items, filter coffee pot, tea kettle). Only suggestion for improvement is something for a proper kitchen knife (only a small steak style knife is there)

Hotel was OK, felt a bit dissjointed as in two halves, straddling a road. Several pools scattered over site. One small bar by main pool, small indoor area with barely any seating if weather not great. Rooms ok, although we changed from our first allocated room as it was at the top of a steep hill, and although we don't have mobility issues, it was a struggle to walk up there. We stayed in block 4 and the rooms were modern and comfortable. There was a small kitchenette and fridge. We were all inclusive and the food was good. There was always a selection and it was tasty. There are 4 pools to chose from and there was always sun loungers available. Most days we were the only ones sat at the reception pool. Its a nice walk to Avlaki beach or walk into kassiopi harbour.

Firstly I have to say the location was amazing, having a balcony right of top of the hill was amazing giving us a challenge getting to the hotel what that was ok. The food was good giving us a good variety of the food. The pool area was amazing giving us 4-5 pools to use. Also giving us activities ruled by Jodi and Rodrigo. The resort is alittle run down and needs some attention in some areas. The rooms are modest and need some attention too. We saw that other rooms are more modern and we found out that they are remodeling the rooms, one area at a time. Well having read the reviews ,we were expecting the worst. Our room had a very refurbished bathroom with new shower & tiles. Bed was huge & we found it very comfortable. Food in hotel was very acceptable, good selection, cereals, fruit, cooked food, snacks not so good. Dinner was great choice, drinks had good selection local beers, wines & spirits. I would say its a 3 star , staff were pleasant & helpful...

This hotel and the staff are amazing. I was really worried as some of the reviews were awful. However I was pleasantly surprised, the hotel room is clean and quite large with a balcony and a really cool view. You can hear the sea from your balcony at night as the location of the hotel is perfect. The food: amazing! This hotel is really well situated overlooking marina. We went on package with Jet 2. Don’t be alarmed when coach stops and you have to get a mini bus to hotel as the coach cannot go down any further. The hotel is modern and clean. Staff and breakfast nice. We were in room 210. There is no lift but they do take your cases up for you. Nice swimming pool with about 10 sunbeds. You can get towels...

We had an exceptional stay at Melina Bay Boutique Hotel. The setting is beautiful, of course, but what really made the experience stand out were the people. Fabulous hotel, fabulous staff, fabulous views! What more can i say, oh and fabulous breakfast! Everyone is so friendly, its kept beautifully clean, by the lovely cleaning team. All in all everyone goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful holiday.

Hotel was lovely and clean everywhere. Bed was super comfortable and bedding was as clean as everywhere else. Plenty of storage and shower powerful. Staff are brilliant, funny and attentive and gave us loads of tips for where to visit. Gina made us laugh loads and helped when my wife injured her hand. Would come back in a heartbeat!!

Just returned from our third stay at Melina Bay. This is a gem of a hotel on the harbour sitting in an ideal position with easy access to all the nearby bars, restaurants, boutiques etc. We had a sea view room on the first floor as usual which gives you the most awesome view of not only the boats and yachts coming and going, but the mountains of Albania, and the ever changing light.
