✅ Rooms generally clean and some recently refurbished, with good air conditioning and comfortable beds ✅ Friendly and hardworking staff, especially praised are the animation team members Mateo, Gaga, and Judi who engage well with children ✅ Varied and plentiful food options with buffet style meals and occasional à la carte dinners ✅ The resort offers a calm environment with two freshwater pools including an adults-only pool and a nearby safe, sandy beach ✅ Several free sports activities such as water aerobics, tennis, basketball and evening entertainment programs ❌ Some guests report issues with room cleanliness, dust, and occasional ant presence ❌ The all-inclusive drinks selection is limited and often described as diluted or weak, with coffee generally requiring extra payment ❌ Towel policy is restrictive, requiring a deposit and allowing towel changes only every two days, sometimes leading to shortages ❌ The hotel’s remote location results in long transfers from the airport (about 1 to 2 hours) and limited local nightlife or excursions without additional travel ❌ Some guests found the atmosphere chaotic during meal times, with loud noise and rushed service

Reviews
2 pools are available but one pool is adults only so the bottom pool gets very very busy, both pools are salt water which was causing problems with our children’s skin, all 4 of them came out in blisters on their finger tips from irritation.
All inclusive was not all inclusive very very basic drinks selection (beer, vodka, white rum, peach snaps or ouzo, all of which are very weak) everything else was an extra charge and all chargeable after 11pm. Only basic coffee was available too. Every the soft drinks and juice were watered down too.
The rooms were dirty I don’t think the cleaners do anything in this hotel if I’m honest no beds made up or changed for our stay the only thing we got was clean towels. Thick dust on top of all of the switches and windowsills.
The staff did not come across welcoming we were travelling with 4 children and there was no enthusiasm from the animation team during the day for activities or at the mini disco they didn’t look like they enjoyed their jobs at all!
Food in the restaurant wasn’t the best you could generally find something but nothing to shout about. The pizzeria down at the pool is your best place to eat! The pizzas were the best thing about the place!
€10 deposit per beach towel but you can only change this every 2 days.
No private beach for the hotel if you go to the beach you will need to pay for the beds.
The other issue was that the hotel is a 2 and a bit hour transfer and it is very secluded to go with extra money for excursions
Advice: food could have more flavour as you can tell they go for quantity over quality with some dishes being very bland.
The resort was bustling with families and kids, which added to the lively atmosphere. The food variety was impressive, with a range of options to suit different tastes and mostly pork as a main meat selection in cusine. However, the all-inclusive drinks selection was somewhat limited, and we found the drinks to be average and often diluted.
One of the highlights of the resort was its proximity to a beautiful beach, which was a short walk away. The property's pool was also well-maintained, clean, and inviting. There is a lot of activity for kids and arrangements for adults for the night and a party on selected dates
Overall, we'd recommend this resort to families and those looking for a relaxing stay with plenty of amenities.
The kids club was great. My son had a great time for a couple of hours and despite being a little nervous, he really enjoyed it. Fiona and Gaga from Kids club really helped him settle in and by the end he was sad to leave. They also had evening entertainment for the kids which he enjoyed.
The front desk team was phenomenal—Maria X, Christianos, Andrea, and the entire crew were warm, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their welcoming attitude made every interaction a pleasure and truly set the tone for a relaxing stay. At the pool bar, Luigi and Nikos were absolute stars, consistently friendly and full of energy, making every visit refreshing and fun.
The food was a highlight, with all four meals a day offering a delightful variety of options. From fresh local dishes to international favorites, the quality and diversity kept every meal exciting and satisfying. The resort’s attention to detail in the dining experience was impressive.
Mareblue Beach Resort continues to exceed expectations, and this stay only deepened my love for the place. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, hoping to return soon to this gem in Corfu!
If you're the sort of person who is looking for a "vibe" the vibe of this hotel is feeding time at the zoo. It is chaos and loud at breakfast and dinner, the staff have service stations alongside your tables and are constantly making loud bangs as they throw their cutlery into the cleaning pot. The walkways between tables become motorways of people rushing to gather more more more low quality food. You look around and all guests seem miserable. An absolute sensory overload.
Some may read this review and think I just hate alll Inclusive, actually that's not true. We also stayed at Corfu Holiday Palace and that is the perfect example of how to do an all inclusive. The vibe was calm and classy with high quality food and drinks, calm enjoyable settings.
Positives for Mareblue? The rooms are genuinely pretty good, definitely get a sea view. The Albanian mountains are beautiful. The small beach by the hotel is a gem, a lot nicer than the hotel pool. And of course the staff are very friendly and helpful.
