Julia made sure our rooms were spotless and comfortable, breakfast was fresh and delicious, Rania and Euvageli went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you Nicko and family for hosting us, highly recommend!

The only disappointment was location which is obviously not hotel’s fault. It’s located very far from everything and there are no taxi available (or very expensive one) so you can’t get out

It is a 3-star hotel, simple and may not offer some luxuries other (more expensive) hotels in the area have, but ultimately, what mattered most to me and my guests was the hospitality, and in that, Creta Vitalis truly excelled

Their kindness, flexibility, and willingness to help at every turn made our stay smooth and memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its heartwarming service and reliability

My girlfriend and I spent a week at this beautiful and peaceful hotel, located in Stavros which is 20/30 minutes by car from Canhia. We take half-board service and I highly recommend to do the same

The location is very beautiful. Near the Stavros beach. The room is big and clean. The pool is cool! The breakfast fresh and yummy. Vicky and all the staff are great.

Not far from Chania, which has lots of great shops! Great food, beautiful accomadation, and nicely decorated rooms. They have a swimming pool with 24hr accsess. It has a lift, a computer room and an undercover car park

i stayed here for 2 weeks when i got stationed on crete. service was great and the management was very welcoming and friendly. the place is a long way from downtown chania, but the beach in stavros is beautiful

Quiet place with a nice pool, good breakfast and overall great treatment from the staff. Excellent as a hub to explore nearby lagoons, caves and mountain trails. May be a bit too far from the beach for some.

And by far most importantly, it is run by a friendly family, who will give you great advice for where to visit and how to get there. We will most certainly come again

We as a couple went out of season, we expected bad weather but the hotel seems to avoid most rain coming in off the coast, however the wind chilled the pool area lot as it's quite exposed

Lovely in calm, warm weather as the views are great, but chilly in the wind. If I have any faults to complain about - that would be that the hotel seem happy with being boring

Ultimately an enjoyable stay but I can't put my finger on the issue(s) with this place

Most guests sit around the Onyx Bar (Lobby) in the evenings and stare at the walls once conversation is exhausted. Some were sensible and played cards but there are definitely some bored faces, including my own

Little piece of heaven! Pity no disabled access to swimming pool. Was unable to use it even though I can walk with stick, and a part way without. No strength in my legs to pull up those short ladders

The location was also ideal – just a short walk to the nearest town with plenty of great places to eat. All in all, this was the perfect family getaway

Following a family recommendation, we booked Artemis at fairly short notice and are so glad we did. Everything was perfect and we cannot fault our holiday

We had a fantastic stay at Artemis Village in Stavros. Our daughter absolutely loved the swimming pool and spent time there every day

Two beaches you can walk to in 10/15 mins, or drive down (parking never an issue for us) and a few nice restaurants in the village, or lots to choose from a short drive away or in Chania. We'd love to come back some time

What I Wish I Knew Ahead of Time: The hotel is in a remote location, so having a car is essential to explore the area and access nearby restaurants and attractions

we had a lovely week very well looked after, room was spotless, Restuarant meal was really good and Minos was once again the person that pulled it all together and was lovely to watch him show case the staff

The food in the restaurant was delicious, including a variety of local dishes and international ones. As wine lovers, we really enjoyed getting to know the local wines as recommended by their sommelier

This customer service did not falter at any point during our stay - all of the staff were incredible. Our suite had a private pool and the decor was modern, and the place immaculate

The location is ideal: the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but still close to the Old Town and the main attractions. Having secure parking was a big plus, especially since I rented a car directly through the hotel

A beautiful restored mansion which transports you into the fairytale world of your long lost great aunt. That is if your great aunt was a wealthy diplomat's wife. The service is warm and personal

The villa is very close to the old town of Chania and very close to 2-3 of the nearest beaches

i knew it would be cheap service. there are dogs barking during the night, this is unacceptable, thankfully i had ear plugs. otherwise - about the appartment. it is what you would expect to have for 60€

I would not hesitate to return and may decide staying here after a late-ish arrival is a better option. No idea about how far it is to places of interest, but did not seem to be far from mini-markets and places to eat

He contacted a couple of places where there was no answer, or they were closed, then tried Pantheon and got us a room. 30pm, to a lovely clean, spacious apartment - sitting room with basic kitchen/fridge etc

The bedroom had tinted glass and large windows/patio-doors so you could leave the roller blinds up and enjoy the view. The balcony outside was fairly large and there were chairs/table/clothes dryer

Arriving in Chania at 9pm, in January, our taxi driver met us as arranged but couldn't take us to our destination on the south coast due to bad weather over the mountains

We left the next morning feeling refreshed and relieved to have found somewhere so good, very reasonably priced, clean and comfy at such short notice, out of season

A very decent hotel within walking distance from the old town (and it's super close to the archeological museum). The interior looks classy and comfy at the same time

The only complaint for me was there was no coffee, just tea in the room and no ceramic cups they were plastic and I could taste the plastic every time I used them, also no classes for water or wine which is unusual

My room was very clean and there was a nice welcome gift waiting for me (loukoumi with some local raki). Breakfast was ok smorgasbord style with a rather standard selection of cereals, cold cuts and cheese

Authentic experience of a local old hostel. Nothing fancy at all even for hostel standard. Location is great and has kitchen which is quite helpful. Staff are very friendly and good breakfast.

Relaxed easy going hostel. Great location and easy access to airport with bus stops outsides. Owner is fantastic and makes you feel at home. Breakfast included during summer months is a great bonus

Our apartment was the one located upstairs on the 2nd floor with a mezzanine which gives it a little charm. The hotel is housed in a tastefully renovated old building. The hostess Katerina's welcome was truly exceptional

This apartment is located a few dozen meters from the old port of Chania. Despite its location close to restaurants, the area is very quiet and we felt completely safe

For car parking, two free car parks are located near the hotel, about 200 meters away. We had no problem finding a place. The apartment is very clean and renovated. It has a modern style and is well equipped

Just what we wanted Clean basic room, helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was not included ( they just call it pocoloco bed and breakfast) but breakfast was very nice and good value

Great location but the facilities not so good

most of all its the courtesy and professionalism of this family run hotel staff that sets it apart from the rest! you MUST ask for advice on where to go and what to avoid during your stay, the guys will give you the most valuable advice for sure!

The reception doesn't look that nice but honestly the room is. Everything's clean, there's a jacuzzi, a big Italian shower, AC, free coffee at disposal at the entrance of the room. I really don't know what's missing

We spent 5 nights at Splanzia Boutique Hotel and the experience was trully nice. The hotel, run by Nikos and his family, is very well located, at the very entrance of the old town

Perfect for its separation from the street but not from the skies and sounds of Chania. The breakfasts were always big, well made, whether we had them in the cozy garden at the back or inside the front lobby

Excellent hotel for exploring Chania. Quiet. Nice, clean rooms. Staff is very helpful. One caution is that there is no elevator, so if stairs are a problem, reach out to the staff.
