It's begining to show its age but we had a good time. The room was nice and quiet with a private mini pool, nice sea view and the hotel is within a walking distance from the downtown area

There isn't much to see in the city but if you wish to just chill, rest and enjoy, this is the perfect place

A very special luxury hotel. I loved Avery aspect of my short stay. Room was spacey and very clean breakfast had quality and variance. People were polite and willing to serve.

That said, overall, it is a good hotel, conveniently located for the hospital, close enough to the city, yet far enough away to be nice and peaceful

The hotel located a bit outside of the Alexandroupolis city which means that you can deep rest without hearing the city noise, cars, people talking, etc

Arrived here without a booking and got a good clean twin room for a good price. Reception was excellent and told us everything we needed to know

Breakfast was very good, with a good selection and excellent coffee! The shower was hot and powerful but needs a better shower tray. This one was over the bath, in the wrong position, with very little space to manoeuvre

It depends for what you are coming. Ideal for business trips and as a stop for historical landmarks visit in the area. It is a bit aside from Alexandropolis and you need a car, taxi or to take a bus

The Location was very good because it had a big parking spot, which included wheelchair spots and charging spots for eletric vechiles. It had a really nice roundabout in the entrance and the reception was very nice

Location is perfect and the beach is beautiful. Bar prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

The hotel is clean, by the sea, close to the center and all facilities are sufficient

The staffs are helpful, the hotel owner even repaired a broken part of our car :) You need to eat or drink something to use sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. I don't understand the bad comments

It was a pleasant evening stroll from the hotel to the lighthouse. I don't know why, but we were surprised to see no signage for the hotel, which made it a bit difficult to find

It would be good if the information and signs inside the hotel were improved. It's difficult to understand how Astir and Egnata are separated, except by their buildings

Firstly , this hotel is not a beach hotel. There is no beach belongs to this hotel or beach services. You need to walk down to seaside with your umbrella and equipments. This i need to inform in advance

We had a wonderful stay at Alexander Beach Hotel in Alexandroupoli. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located. What truly made our experience exceptional was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff

As a Turkish speaking family , there was Turkish speaking crew also. ( all team was helping without any delay when needed ) I would not prefer as a beach hotel, but prefer if i look for a normal stay if needed

This is a charming family run hotel close to shops, restaurants and a little beach. I have stayed there for years, and rate it very highly.

We did not had possibility to enjoy the beach as we came in March and weather was windy. But it has sand and pebbles, I guess in summer it is nice place to take a swim and there are also beach bars

I liked this place a lot. It has a nice view, great hospitality and a great crew. I loved how friendly they are. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and I wish I could spend more time there. Highly recommended..

The staff offered quick service when needed. Not to mention that the sea was only 100 m far away from the hotel and we had a nice time at the beach bar close to Thalassa hotel

For short term rentals it is okey

We stayed in a double room, the mattress was very big and comfortable and we had a nice view on the garden and sea from our balcony. The price for the room was affordable and the breakfast met our expectations

Nice 3 star hotel with comfy rooms. Nutritional breakfast.

Friendly and Turkish speaking staff. Breakfast with may varieties. Rooms are clean. Not by the sea side, you need do a 5-10 mins walk to reach the beach. 3km to the city center.

I strongly recommend Thalassa Hotel for a pleasant stay in Alexandroupolis city. Me and my husband will definitely stay again. Thank you miss Efi and Despoina for your exceptional assistance !
