Having visited all the ikos hotels over 9 years we feel this could be our last one There is too much attention given to families with little ones

We’ve just returned from our seventh visit to Ikos Olivia, and this time deserves special mention. We often travel in April, early in the season, and in previous years you could sense a few teething problems as new staff settled in and operations ramped up. Not this year. We stayed as a family of 4 in a one bed suite. It is the smallest of the ikos resorts and we felt that is best suited to those with younger children. Food was amazing and it was always easy to get a table in the restaurants. We stayed over May half term.

There’s no doubt Ikos is a lovely holiday, but they haven’t appreciated with the constant price increases, our expectations are also rising. We’ve been to Ikos 4 times over the past 6 years and the price is 40% higher now than it was. But equally the size of portions and drinks have decreased. Whilst that’s ‘not a problem’, the attention from staff is not the same either. Bar staff walk past you...

We had an amazing experience here! Everything was beyond our expectations – the place was spotless clean, the location is fantastic, just a few steps from the beach with crystal clear water, a gentle entrance, and soft sand. The staff were wonderful, always kind and ready to help with anything we needed. Truly one of the best stays we’ve had, and we would definitely come back.

Plenty of fishes in the sea, where the rocks are. You can see them really well early in the morning or before sunset. Clean, wide, perfect for kids if they can swim.

We arevisiting this place for 5 years. I like the cleanliness and the helpful stuff. The place is beatiful and peacefull and one can have a great vacation there. The only thing that was not OK for me all these years is the small bed sizes. We often rent a 2 bedroom house and the double bed was not for 2 persons...

The houses are very nice and well equipped, personnel are friendly and eager to help or offer advice. The cleaning crew comes every other day, which was quite useful. Good food at the restaurant near the beach

The house was clean and we had everything we needed. (Kitchen tools, fridge, electric tools etc) . Staff were kind and helpful. Beach is very close and there is a good restaurant nearby. This is a great place for silence seekers. The price is very good for the satisfaction and Joy we experienced.

Perfect place for families, very interesting architecture, great well-maintained gardens and good location. Quiet and peaceful.

It’s an awesome place with really nice and friendly hosts. I can only totally recommend. You also get a nice pool with night lights and a shallower water for kids. All in all it is really awesome

Good food, nice beach, pleasant atmosphere. Water in our bathroom was salty and completely lacking at times, so taking a shower can feel like playing the lottery :) Management and cleaning staff are helpful.

Great family resort! We are coming here every year for 12 years! This is our favourite place -home away from home :) Friendly staff, private beach -front access, good food -in one word - this place has everything my family need.. My booking was fantastic and amazing with the spotless room to be above and beyond any fantasy with the well-equipped furnishings, the nicely decoration, with AC inside and a fridge. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, the price was very reasonable. I loved relaxing by the pool, looking at the nearby sea and using my phone to took great memorial pictures. Excellent hotel. Great staff and services. Only thing is, it is not walking distance from other places and the town. But it's right in the middle of Kassandra and Sithonia, so if you have a car, is a great base to adventure from. Ionnis has the best recommendations for places to explore on the peninsula. 10/10 would stay here again.

The place is super nice and I think for the price you get the best quality. There is breakfast that works in a really cool way. I loved this hotel! The staff are great, the gardens and pools are lovely, there are plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs and sunshades, the food is delicious and varied - different Greek dishes every day for all meals even for breakfast, the included wines are very acceptable - and you help yourself to wine, beer and ouzo! Best possible experience for the price! Asteris village is a family hotel with very friendly staff, mesmerizing view and a decent restaurant. Me and my husband have just returned yesterday after a wonderful 2 week holiday at Asteris Village. We have both said that the hotel is faultless. We were welcomed immediately by all Staff. Whilst I agree that hotel is remote, it does not take away any of the Greek charm they offer. We have loved every second of our stay and will definitely go back. Friendly staff and nice hotel. Definetely worth the money since there is a quite environment, with a pool. The restauarant is also really convenient. Only con is that you have to pay 5 EUR extra for AC which is just weird, it could just be included to the total price, since the hotel is already cheap.
