Sani Dunes in Sani Beach

As we enter the new year we commence our usual exciting countdown to the 2026 season at Sani. After enjoying incredible family holidays here over the past 13 years, it’s now akin to returning to our Greek home and family (and we are not the first reviewers to highlight this sentiment). Our favourite, happy place, Sani Dunes provides escapism and relaxation - a perfect blend of exceptional levels of service, wonderful facilities and accommodation, fantastic food and drinks and most of all amazingly talented and professional people who create the Sani magic. Last year I enjoyed a stay with my best friend - 5 nights to unplug, relax and catch up in June. We also returned as a family in October so it was interesting to compare the beginning of the season to the final week of the season. Overall, the renowned Sani magic was ever present on both visits. Some of the staff do leave before the end of the season to go back to their studies so we did miss some familiar faces but overall we felt that service levels weren’t massively compromised. As a creature of habit I do look forward to my favourite Sani wines so was a tiny bit disappointed that by the end of October there was a more limited offering as stocks were being wound down for the winter closure – entirely understandable but wasn’t something we’d experienced before. The positive is that it encouraged me to sample some different wines (and yes – I did find a new favourite for this year! 😊) On both visits we were personally welcomed by the General Manager, Nikos Ouzounis – an exceptionally warm, professional leader who was always visible around the hotel, smiling and engaging with guests. Nikos is a credit to Sani who has made Dunes the gem that it is today. Every guest is made to feel valued with customer experience a top priority. Deputy Manager Andreea and her brilliant guest services team made it their mission to check in with guests daily, with any queries we had immediately and professionally dealt with. A big thank you also to Meropi and Elena for your warmth and kindness and to the wonderful intern Melanie who regularly messaged to see if we needed any assistance (even on her day off!). With an array of dining options across the Sani resort, guests are truly spoilt for choice. Dunes itself has a fantastic choice of restaurants under the expert leadership of Panagiota (hugely experienced after many years at Sani), supported by George, Alex and Elena and their brilliant teams to deliver a notably super-efficient and delectable F&B operation. We especially loved the option to enjoy a leisurely breakfast beach side at the Beach House or at the main hotel restaurant the Market. Both offer a fabulous buffet but also an a-la-carte menu. An unforgettable experience at Sani Dunes! The beachfront setting is stunning, the rooms are elegant and serene, and the service is truly exceptional. Dinner at Fresco was outstanding, and breakfast at the Beach House was the perfect start to each day. Every detail felt thoughtful and luxurious — can’t wait to return!

We stay in Sani Dunes many times. Every year we come and always feel happy. Staff remember us and make us feel like home. Hotel very clean, beach beautiful and food is amazing. We will go every year because this place is special for us.

This was our tenth year visiting Sani and it's still our favourite holiday destination. The service, location, attention to detail keeps us coming back. We love Sani Dunes (we stayed at Beach when the kids were younger) because it's spacious, the pool is great and it offers good accomodation for a family of 5. But it really is the staff that make the stay so special. Nothing is too much trouble (thanks to Andreea) and everyone is so friendly from Angela offering water and towel top ups every evening (thank you Angela for always being so sweet and patient) to Dimitris at the pool bar with a smile on his face every morning (even if the weather cannot always be in our favour!) Beach House is still a favourite for breakfast and lunch - the fish sharing platter is amazing, view across the sea, great atmosphere when there's music playing and of course the team - Vangelis makes the restaurant what it is and the wine somelier, Giannis, has great suggestions (understands what we like and offers great Greek options). This year there is a new restaurant we tried - Avli at the marina - really enjoyed our lunch there, fresh fish, great suggestions from the manager. Nothing, nothing though tops our absolute favourite restaurant (ever!) - Katsu. The best Japanese food, so fresh, so creatively prepared. Katsu and Daniel - you are the best team and thank you again for the special evening. Sani Dunes never disappoints and you can't leave without planning your next trip - see you April Sani!

As returning guests, we’re always amazed by how Sani Dunes manages to exceed our expectations every time. The staff are exceptional, warm, professional, and genuinely caring. The rooms are spotless and beautifully designed, the food outstanding, and the atmosphere pure relaxation. It truly feels like our home away from home. Thank you once again to the wonderful team — we can’t wait to be back!

A friends photos of the resort let us to book a week away. We were delighted by the welcome, the room and view, wonderful cleanliness, food, beaches, long walks, lovely and friendly staff etc. I could go on. We only had 5 nights at Sani Dunes but it included my husbands birthday - and the staff were so attentive and helped make his day memorable. We will definitely be back!

The most perfect all inclusive resort we have been too as a family. The service, facilities and experience was faultless. We would go back every year without hesitation!

If you even want a meal lace to relax and be looked after, this is the place for sure. The team never leave anything to chance, they cater and try to accommodate all your needs! Luxury resort , best team. The food in the 3 restaurants is exceptional and so is the staff, the beach. Nikos Ouzonis, Andrea and guest relations team are outstanding .
