Where to stay in Lygia

Very nice hotel with wonderfully friendly staff and impeccable cleanliness. The staff does everything in their power to make you have a very pleasant holidays. Location is a bit in a quiet town but this is a perfect location for a quiet, relaxed getaway.

A beautiful place to stay. Rooms are clean. Food is oke. And the staff is excellent, friendly and warm.

The Staff members are very kind, helpful and nice. The food is fine it's very good for its price. We enjoyed the vacation with the whole family. 5 km from the nearest city easy accessible with taxi at any hour. Small 20 min walk to the nearest normal beach. The supermarket is next to the hotel where you can get anything.

A lot of space and privacy, very clean, the staff is nice and friendly. The breakfast is also good. The only negative thing is really that the bees disturb you from your meal... that's it. :)

Smokers spoil the experience for the non-smokers. The shared indoor spaces are smoke-filled all day long. If you have lung disease, or airways sensitivity, this hotel poses challenges. The management are powerless to control the environment in the shared indoor spaces due to smokers lighting up in the shared dining area. We were looking for a hotel to relax in for three nights before chartering a boat from Lefkada for a week. It was exactly what we hoped it would be. The staff were friendly, the room simple but clean and had everything we needed, the pool was lovely and a short walk to some excellent tavernas. We'd definitely visit again.

As the title of this review implies this hotel was perfect for us. The location is beautiful, I could not believe that I was privileged enough to wake up the that view every morning. Thalero was such a wonderful peaceful retreat. So the studio ( soon to be modernised) was older … the furniture was well loved . However, the cleanliness was the best I have ever encountered whilst travelling abroad . Better than all 5* properties!!! It had everything in the studio you could want. It is a very well decorated and comfortable appartement. The personel is welcoming and the arrival is straightforward. It is located walking distance to the shore which offers a beautiful scenery. The pool is pretty as well. Very good price/quality.

We had the best stay. Comfortable spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff, beautiful swimming pool and setting. Reasonably priced tasty bar snacks. Wide variety of drinks. Ice cream that is out of this world. We come back every year. Can’t fault it.

We have just spent ten days staying in this lovely little hotel. Our room (No 2) was ideal for us. On a corner, first floor, with double doors on two sides onto a nice balcony overlooking the pool. It has a basin, fridge, some plates/cutlery and a kettle etc so morning tea and home-made lunch in the room is perfect. Supermarket nearby. Bed comfortable and large. We had a wonderful time! Everyone was so welcoming and kind. They also had great recommendations about what to do around the island, which places to visit and were to eat. They also serve amazing food and the atmosphere is very peaceful. You can tell that they run this place with so much love!

Had an amazing two week stay. Amazing peaceful location with easy links to the busy towns of Lefkada and Nidri. Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean with excellent staff nothing was a problem for them. In the past we have stayed in a close by other hotel so glad we made the change this year.
