Aristide Hotel in Ermoupoli

This is an incredible boutique hotel. Everything is a work of art, from the beautifully designed rooms to the stunning food and expertly crafted cocktails. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough to help - I was a solo traveller and the staff took extra care to make me welcome.

There are two lovely outdoor terraces to have breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening with great views. It’s a short walk to Ermoupoli with lots of great shops. Syros is a beautiful island and this would be a perfect honeymoon hotel. Absolutely loved it!

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, close to all the shops and restaurants in Ermoupoli. Staff is very attentive and kind. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. One big complaint is the street noise, if you leave your windows open, which is very tempting to do on this beautiful island. A smaller complaint: lack of coffee machines or kettles in the room.

This was the 2nd time I stayed at the Aristide and I hope to come back many more times. It is a beautiful hotel filled with fascinating art, beautiful individually curated rooms, a lovely peaceful garden, a fun bar with delicious cocktails, and chic rooftop restaurant with a wonderful view and interesting food.

The staff is lovely and attentive and the service could not have been better.

The hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from the sea, and a morning swim before breakfast became a perfect start to the days The port area where most of the restaurants and shops can be found is just a nice 10–15 minute stroll away.

Aristide is an exceptional place and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

This is a great hotel. The building is beautiful, the rooms are fantastic (especially the ones with a plunge pool), and the location is great - easily walkable to the centre of town, but just out of the hustle and bustle. Staff are incredible - warm and friendly, super helpful and attentive, and just really nice in general. Service is top notch. Breakfast is really good, and the dinner menu is also great - small but everything is delicious - the rooftop is a lot of fun for drinks and dinner. Amongst all of this quality, the standout is the bar - Konstantinos is an outstanding mixologist. The man is an alchemist! His cocktails are literally some of the best I have ever had anywhere, and he clearly loves what he does and is very happy to talk to you about it. I highly recommend spending some time in the bar talking to him about how he makes his cocktails - absolutely fascinating. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Our stay at The Aristide was a highlight of our recent Greek adventure. The hotel is filled with fascinating art, thoughtfully displayed throughout both the common areas and the rooms, adding a distinctive charm to the entire experience.

The location is ideal—perched above the Aegean, just a few minutes’ walk to the water for a swim and a 10–15 minute stroll to the port area, where we found a wonderful mix of shops, restaurants, and an authentic glimpse into local life.

Our room (the Kapadriti Suite) was spacious and quiet, the bathroom had nearly every personal care product imaginable. A private patio featured a plunge pool and a cozy outdoor area, perfect for daytime relaxation and enjoying local delicacies, like Greek cheeses from a nearby shop, in the evening.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Warm and attentive, they went above and beyond with personalized tips that made discovering the island even more rewarding.

We never made it to the rooftop restaurant, but breakfasts on the quiet side patio were delicious, and the bar staff were both knowledgeable and welcoming. Each afternoon brought freshly baked treats, every one outstanding.

We wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional retreat where refined design, artistic spirit, and warm, intuitive hospitality come together seamlessly.

Lovely hotel in a tastefully restored neoclassical mansion, perfectly located in the luxxy Vaporia district, a couple of minutes walk from both the main square, and city beach. Outstanding breakfast served in the pretty courtyard. Roof terrace has great views across the city & sea. The perfect place to stay in Syros.

The Aristide Hotel is a gorgeous designed, luxurious boutique hotel. Every details has been thought of: hair straighteners, skin care in re usable containers, beach towels, filtered cold water delivered throughout the day to name a few. Impressive art collection. Excellent breakfasts and the best bar staff and coffee in all of Syros. The courtyard was the perfect oasis for remote work during the day and a drink in the evenings. Highly recommended. I will definitely return.

What a stunning place. Our room was incredible, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with lots of little extras. Beautiful breakfast in he garden, great coffee. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to do everything possible to make you happy and relaxed. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back.
