Lido Hotel in Xylokastro

We have been here a few times and glad to say it hasn’t changed. Right by the sea, you can swim and use the hotel’s paddle boards. The rooms are very comfortable, and the food is freshly cooked and delicious. The hotel is all that is good about holidays in Greece. It is run by a lovely family who are very friendly and welcoming.

We had the most relaxing stay at Lido Hotel In Melissi, Xylokastro on the Corinthian Gulf. The staff were exceptional, always there to assist with our questions and offer recommendations. Nothing was ever a problem. The place is a 3 star hotel but punches above its weight. Super clean, and I mean spotless! A pool, a private beach albeit small but it never felt overcrowded. Sun lounges, umbrellas, kayaks, snorkels, beach towels, all complimentary to use. The roof top bar was a highlight overlooking the sea, having a drink before heading out to have dinner. We were a family of 5 adults and had 3 front sea view rooms. Hearing the sea at night, watching the sunrise in the morning....can't get any better! A local bakery was 10 mins walk away. A short taxi ride will get you to Kiato and Xylokastro towns in either direction. We also booked the Lidoblue cruise, which was beyond anything I can describe! We were transported to another world exploring the Corinthian Gulf’s pristine turquoise waters. This activity I would strongly recommend💙 We have since stayed in Naxos, Paros and Santorini in 4 -5 star properties, and it has been a unanimous, Lido Hotel is still up there with our most memorable and enjoyable stays. If you're after relaxation by the sea, you can't beat this place.

Property is a delightful budget hotel on the beach. However the area is a little remote.

The staff at the Lido Hotel are amazing. They are friendly and go above and beyond to look after their guests.
In my case, I thought I left something behind. I sent an email explaining my issue and they responded immediately to help me solve my problem. The problem was resolved, thanks to their genuine concern. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks to all the staff at Lido Hotel

What a great find. It was perfect for our family stay two bedroom condo is just that. Two bedrooms no common area. But you don’t want to stay in your room here. Enjoy pool/beachside. Try to get a room away from the street. Motorcycles are a pain

I’ve travelled a lot and this is by far the best service I’ve ever had. The staff was helpful, kind, there for our every request and always ready to go above and beyond. We were there for Greek Easter and the owner brought us lamb chops for supper so we can enjoy the Greek traditions. They were more like friends than staff. Whenever we decide to go back we will definitely be staying at this hotel. The view, the rooms the beach 🥰
Bakery near by foot, beach and restaurants walking distance too but honestly the food at the hotel was more than enough amount and quality ❤️❤️❤️
We ate there every day and night Big portions very reasonable prices. Breakfast was great too. It was my husbands first trip to Greece along with a couple of friends and they were all so touched by the service.

Nice hotel right on beach. Guess it was not full season since pool not filled yet. Very nice and helpful staff. Would recommend and stay again.

Best place in Greece! We were on our way to Ioannina and stopped to take a look, the receptionist charoula was so kind and hospitifull and showed us the hotel and helped us pick a room for our family of 5, we took two nights on the spot althogh we planned to stay one night. The hotel is on the sea shore and has three sap for guests use which the kids really enjoyed.
Also we would like to thank thiodor the owner which gave us a felling of one of the family. We will definetly return for a few days
