Nice resort Nice resort opposite the beach. We also had access to a massive swimming pool area. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. All staff were really friendly

My kids enjoyed the amenities including the large beautiful pool. We wish the pool was open early and not at 11 am. The food at the hotel restaurant was just ok so we ended up dinning out a good number of nights

I would consider this a 5 star resort. The bungalow we stayed in was modern, clean and spacious. Some bungalows had private pools. Incredible value! The pool was gigantic and well maintained

The location is wonderful, both right at the beach, far from other hotels but very close the Kalamata city (~8 minute drive). We highly recommend and definitely will come again in the next season

Spent a week here in October with my family. The hotel was absolutely beautiful- the renovation was great. Our room was spacious and lovely. The swimming pools were also great. We were able to swim every day

The staff were very efficient and friendly and gave wonderful assistance with every need of our visit. Our room was spacious, bright, beautifully decorated, and offered an amazing sea view from the third floor

I can't understand why they just don't shut down that awful eatery: outside the hotel there a few tavernas which I am sure can provide a much better service for a fraction of what the hotel charges for their so-called 'all-inclusive' option

I recently stayed at Vathi Hotel, and it was an absolute paradise! 🌴 The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient for relaxing by the sea every day

Large airconditioned rooms with a small kitchen. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are changed also daily even if you don't place them on the floor. There is a pool but never been there

The staff was exceptional in trying to accommodate guests. From the the reservations, check-in, restaurant and bar staff to the room maids, it was obvious that everyone went the "extra mile"

Room designs were convenient and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant ( both indoor and outside offers a wonderful view and a generous breakfast

Some OK restaurants and bars along the promenade, but the best are in the old town 20 minutes walk away. tip: take a sunrise walk out on the molo, and you may spot some sea turtles

Wonderful beachfront hotel! Large clean rooms and a great breakfast available! The rooftop restaurant bar is with a stunning view of the Messinisn bay and Kalamata wondernful beach

He was incredibly passionate about the food, took the time to educate us on each dish, and guided us through a delicious wine experience

The biggest advantage is that it has its own private (relatively small but very nice) pebble beach and very nice sea right in its front

In the pool bar right over it, there are some very tasty local lunch options as meatballs with freshly made “French” fries and piglet etc It still reminds me of nice Greek, traditional vacations from the 90’ by the the sea

The hotel may be a bit outdated (the rooms though well renovated), but it truly strategically located by the sea

The best aspect of the hotel is the little quiet pebble beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, a very nice place to chill out with perfectly clean sea water

We like most of everything about this hotel except for the shower water. The pressure of the water in the shower was very weak and the temperature of the water was not consistent

The warmth and efficient polite hotel staff made our stay enjoyable, lots of choices at breakfast, sun loungers were always available at the poolside side everything was an ease especially ordering from the poolside bar with staff were polite and efficient

This is not one of the bustling, loud resort were you fight for a pool space (thankfully) so whenever our children wanted to just stay in the pool area, they'd always be space

We stayed two weeks at Atki Taygetos that is perfectly located for a stay in Kalamata and to explore the Peloponnese in the Mani Peninsula area

Huge rooms, fabulously clean throughout, a beautiful pool set in spacious gardens with grass and fruit trees. The staff are wonderfully friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious

We were surprised to find we were often the only people there - no sun-bed wars here! The location is perfect - a short easy walk from the centre of the village and two lovely beaches as well as a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants

The bathroom, however, was badly in need of modernising as the shower area was musty with a badly fitting shower

A great 3 night stay at this quaint hotel. We were originally booked to stay somewhere else but when that didn't happen we booked into the Dias, so glad we did

Fantastic place, it's not the Four Seasons but they welcome you like old friends. The city is amazing and I wish I could have stayed longer than just 1 day.

I stayed at Pappas hotel for a week. Simple, but very tasty and nutritious. I am an athlete, this hotel supports my fitness goals with healthy food and that I love most about hotels

The beach here is small, but very cozy and private, it also has a bar and jumping dock. This hotel is not like a hotel, it is your second little home

Very good Location, parking and beach. Pool is deep and clean with guard. Room can be made complete dark at night - no disturbing light source in sea view room, could sleep with window open and hear the waves

The staff was very friendly and helping. My favourite staff member was the barman Nikos, who greeted me and tlaked to me like an old friend. Make sure you chat with him during your stay

Our stay at Aion Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, and the rooms were comfortable. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality

Later, I got really sick and needed to see a doctor, but the doctor we called didn’t speak English. Vicki, the hotel owner, accompanied us to the appointment and translated for us

But we had one major issue which was that the tiles on the steps of the pool are dangerously slippery, the first day we used it my husband slipped and broke a small bone in his wrist

We saw many other people slip on the pool steps while we were there, though the hotel management seemed quite indifferent to this

Some friends of ours had just gotten married near by, they came to visit for a day and similarly slipped in the pool

Just didn’t feel like they cared we were there, maybe since we were foreigners (but my husband speaks Greek) or that we had kids, not sure, but nobody did a quality check despite walking by us several times and even on check out didn’t ask how the stay was

December is the slow season and this pace was affordable. We had 4 people- two adults, an 18 and 12 yo and when booked it implied that we needed two rooms

Good central location in the old part of Nafplio, a few metres from the sea. The breakfast room lacked atmosphere (just in hotel lobby). Our room was on two floors which meant bed was in the attic and a bit dark

In future I would book a room on one level so I had views from the bed! There was no storage upstairs. Staff were wonderful, very accommodating

At arrival both rooms were made up as if there’d be four people in each. We might’ve all fit in one room but we just had both rooms, plenty of space and enjoyed scenic Nafplio

The room was well taken care of, the location is on a quiet pedestrian just a stone's throw away from the town high street and the staff has really made us feel welcomed and at home

The pool bar and resturant staff were very helpful, you dont need to get off your sun bed they will come and ask if you need anything, all of them really helpfull and polite The menu is amazing all freshley cooked I tried everything on the menu, we only ate out once as I was so impressed

as the pool does not open until 11am and there were a few people who tried to use it before 11, "me included" so I got my wrist slapped "and quite rightly so," it does not open until 11am for a reason

The beach is just down the road, what a truley great experiance we went several times, every time it was almost empty, if you speak with the very friendley Demitre on recieption he will supply you with a sun umbrella to borrow

Worth a visit for the views and nearby tavernas. There are a lot of nice beaches to visit in the area, however in May the season is just beginning so not many were up and running with provision of sunbeds

We spent two weeks here, I always try to give an honest and true review, lets start with the location, you definatley need a car, we had one so we could get out and about

Should we have stayed longer we would have taken advantage of the beautiful pool and the many activists such as bread making etc

What kept this from being a perfect stay was the service. I was celebrating a milestone birthday and had mentioned it ahead of time, but there was no acknowledgment at all

And by late afternoon, the pool area wasn’t being maintained: towels left out, empty glasses and plates, loungers not reset

We wanted to look at a potential wedding venue as it holds a special place in our hearts and the staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us! They are truly amazing and we adore each and every one of the people who work here! Always smiling, super attentive and nothing is too much bother

They go above and beyond and made our stay unforgettable yet again even though there’s different staff to when we visited 7 years previously

I recently stayed at the Arion Hotel in Xylokastro and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is modern and chic, located right by the sea, offering stunning views of the gulf from many of its rooms

The room was very big and very clean with three balconies, one of them facing the sea which was lovely and great. Bathroom was also spacious with large variety of amenities and clean

Breakfast was perfect just the coffee too bad. Price at the bar for 1 drink 12 ■ it's too much. The beach was with rocks not clean. For our bad luck the water was cold and waces all the time

The breakfast buffet was rich and offered a great variety of fresh options to choose from. I also enjoyed the hotel's swimming pool and the beautiful pine forest nearby, which is perfect for walks or cycling

It combines excellent service, top amenities, and a fantastic location close to both the beach and the town center—a perfect choice for both families and couples looking for relaxation and comfort

A good value in a semi premium class for a resort town sort of setting and surrounding area. Facility has some wear over the decades if you look closely (as many places do), but it proved a solid choice

Wonderful property overlooking the promenade and a great view of the water castle of Bourtzi. Shopping and Tavernas are plentiful and an easy walk. The staff were very friendly, and requests were responded to promptly

Well located in old town and still possible to park. Hit and miss nearby (and free), but they also have a remote lot well above on hill with lots of space. Staff was small, consistent and always attentive

We were only there for 2 days/1 night but would have gladly stayed longer if time allowed. would definitely choose this property again on a return to Nafplio!

We have been here a few times and glad to say it hasn’t changed. Right by the sea, you can swim and use the hotel’s paddle boards. The rooms are very comfortable, and the food is freshly cooked and delicious

Sun lounges, umbrellas, kayaks, snorkels, beach towels, all complimentary to use. The roof top bar was a highlight overlooking the sea, having a drink before heading out to have dinner

We were a family of 5 adults and had 3 front sea view rooms. Hearing the sea at night, watching the sunrise in the morning. can't get any better! A local bakery was 10 mins walk away
