Lovely room at the rear of the hotel. Cleaning staff excellent and so friendly. Excellent choice of food for breakfast and the homemade jams and cakes were amazing - thank you Nova. Friendly staff and owners , lovely pool area ,close to the beach. So relaxing . Definitely be returning

Had a fantastic holiday with my girlfriend & friends. The hotel was 1st rate always clean & tidy , but most of all friendly & welcoming…. guests & staff alike. The owners & their team are amazing & it shows as they will go above and beyond to help you have a great experience with many guests returning year on year !

The hotel is 150 meters from a great beach with space for everyone,sunbeds or trees around and many restaurants and beachbars, If you prefer swimming pool the hotel has a big clean and surrounded by a beautiful garden,the breakfast is amazing and the hotels staff are helpful and friendly,many repeated guests...

Best location at the middle of the beach, many nice restaurants around and just 150meters from rhe sea,Simple rooms but clean,a beautiful garden surrounds the swimming pool and a bar is there to serve you cold beer!!! Snacks during the day and an amazing breakfast in the morning. I will be back!!!!

We stayed in July 2025, a family with a 4-year kid. Hotel Sofia is a hidden treasure among smaller, traditional Greek hotels. As soon as you arrive, you feel calm and welcome. The hotel area is full of greenery, the hotel lobby looks like someone's living room and looks very cozy. If you arrive in the morning, the kind owner will greet you and invite you for breakfast. There, you'll meet Nova – and being welcomed by her feels like visiting your auntie after many years. And if you've never had an auntie like that, just go there – you’ll understand. She’s so warm and friendly – and she even has endless patience for little ones wandering curiously around her breakfast territory making funny faces at them to make them laugh. The breakfast is homemade and delicious – the chef cooks just like your grandma! The swimming pool is clean and perfect for relaxing. The rooms are basic, but nice and cozy, always super clean and smelling fresh, thanks to the amazing cleaning ladies who do their job with care and heart. Oh and the beach - beach is wonderful, long, wide, with natural shadow of trees and mountain in the backwards. Very few people on the beach even in the high season. If you don’t like large hotel complexes but prefer a personal touch, this hotel should be on your list of places to stay!

We highly recommend a stay in this lovely family run hotel in Kampos. All guests receive a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms benefit from air conditioning and are fresh and very clean. The pool is immaculately maintained and has an inviting poolside bar which is popular with guests, especially for pre- and post- dinner drinks. The breakfast buffet is superb with lots of choice of fresh ingredients and home made products. There is an inviting lunch menu of delicious snacks and salads. On Saturday nights the family organise a fantastic BBQ with succulent, locally-sourced meats and an array of tasty Greek accompaniments. The hotel garden is a delight with many interesting plants and an impressive palm tree by the pool. The position of the hotel could not be better. In 5 minutes you can be on the beach and in either direction you have a wide choice of beach bars, cafes and restaurants. We are returning for our 7th visit next year.

Anyways made very welcome and everything you need as well as the beach is right at hand. The buffet breakfast is to die for with everything you could want. Everything is spotless, small and friendly. Lovely pool.

At Sofia Hotel you will find the friendliest people you could ever meet. Everything is beautifully clean with a lovely pool and bar. Restaurants and beach are just a stones throw away. It’s worth hiring a car to see the island which is beautiful with many lovely places to visit.

The hotel and staff are by far the friendliest people I ever met on holiday in Greece. Vasilis and Nova and Amanda are like visiting your best friends. Really felt welcome and breakfast was superb. Very clean and you'll wonder why people rebook each year. We've already booked for next May, the first time ever we've done this in over 30 years of holidays.

Have just left the Sofia Hotel after spending a week at this stunning family run hotel. Vassilis, Manolis, and Nova are the family that provide first-class service. Backed with a super team of staff who keep this hotel immaculate, it really was a pleasure to stay. Friendly and funny, you feel in a short space of time that you have been embraced with Greek love. The breakfast offering is wide with hot food, Yoghurt home-made jams, cakes and cookies with juice, tea, and coffee in abundance. The gardens are lush, the pool is wonderful, the bar serves up amazing cocktails, and the rooms are very comfortable with loads of hot water. I loved it, and my thanks go to all at Hotel Sofia for giving me a holiday that ticked all the boxes. Go guys!
