Where to stay in Pecs

It's a shame my room (because I book here often) isn't quite as quiet. Otherwise, the stay is always excellent.

The hotel itself is located outside the center, in a quiet side street. The room was very large and nicely furnished, but rather gloomy. The hotel consist of two parts a newer area which is 4 star and an older original area, but overall needs a good re decoration and up dating throughout, felt more like a 3 star hotel, just comparing when have visited other 4 star hotels. We loved this hotel. The room was clean and well equipped (except for a drying rack for swimwear...) and all staff members were helpful, especially the lovely lady in the restaurant. Food was delicious and plenty. The pool was clean and the sauna and hot tub excellent. The gym was a bit basic and too warm, but available.

The hotel is in a residential area (unusual for a hotel). It has a few parking spaces in front and a small parking lot in the inner courtyard. The rooms are large and spacious. The staff was very friendly and gave me tips about Pecs but I also shared nice conversations with them. During my stay, there was a couple staying at the hotel which ate vegan and the staff went out of their way to accomodate there needs. So nice and so friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very friendly, very central, very nice and clean. Old fashioned family hotel in the middle of Pécs. Warm and welcoming staff, large rooms with air conditioning, fridge and tv. Spacious bathroom. Nice and simple breakfast with all you need to get going. Reception not open all the time, but the friendliest staff you can imagine being there whenever you need. Will visit again!

The service was prompt and very friendly. This is an excellent location not far from city center. Walking distance to the bus station, a HUGE piac and Churches, historical sites. Mall is across the street. Only 3 stars for the room, the beds were too hard to sleep comfortably.

Such a great little hotel! Receptionist was very helpful, very nice and positive, was smiling and informative. Breakfast very very delicious and you plenty of choices, from eggs to oats and home made cakes too. Room and bathroom were nice and clean! They also have their own parking!

Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was OK, personel nice. But beware: paking is hard to find and is a bit expensive. The worst was an aircondition machine below the window, making a noise all the night (switching on and off). Another issue was a light right behind the window, switching on and off too.

The location of the hotel is more than perfect. It is located in the center of the city, in the very heart of the city. On the other hand, on the side and front of the hotel is Arkad Shopping Center (you have a variety of options for a quick meal). Had a very nice stay at Hotel Central in one of the apartments. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner and better equipped but we were overall satisfied. Tasty breakfast and the option to take it up to your rooms, lovely and talkative staff, best value for money.

There are good and bad things, the bad part first: It's not worth getting full pension, as they serve the same food all week, with no variety but the taste is not bad. I recently stayed here for one night and this was an ok experience. Check-in was smooth but lacked a bit of friendliness; no smiles, no 'welcome to our hotel', The room was big and clean as was the bathroom, but in comparison with the room size, this was a small area. The shower door didn't close properly but on the other hand the shower was excellent. Bed's were ok. Soundproofing is not the strongest...

Decent rooms and decent breakfast

It was an easy process. We felt safe and the breakfast was delicious.

Hotel staff were courteous but will benefit from additional customer service training such as smiling and show some excitement about the work.

The prices are okay, as is the service, but the food would not be something I would recommend. The soup and the main dish were mediocre at best. The rice, for example, was one of the worst rice I've ever eaten, totally bland and way overcooked. The dessert was pretty good though.

We planned to go on March but due to unexpected reason we had to cancel and they were very flexible to move to another date. The hotel was clean and comfortable, they suggested to go to the roof with a glass of wine bc the panoramic was wonderful :) So they were very helpful however the receptionist was not familiar with the public transport possibilities. Clean and comfortable rooms, with great location.

Hotel is located just off the main square. However is about a twenty minute walk from the railway station. Good choice for breakfast, which is served from 0700.

Great location near center ,young but pleasant stuff ,all recomendations.

The location was great. The staff was great - they helped me check in very late at night and cheerfully printed out documents I needed for a presentation. The room was quite comfortable. The one issue is that the base of the shower did not contain the water, so each time I showered there was a little flood in the bathroom.

It's a beautiful place to stay, highly recommended for those who looking for exclusive and high standard rooms to stay for a generous price.

Very comfortable bed, very good (big and silent) fride in the room, air conditioning was a gift in this hot sommer period. Friendly and helpful crew, in case of issue they were cooperative as well. Unfortunatley the smell in the bathroom is not every time the best, but it has to be accepted (long story with neighboors). Small parking opportunity, but you can figure out a place in the surrounding.

This is a great place to stay overnight on a trip. I can even imagine to stay few nights. Hotel has a private parking, it’s easy to find. The receptionist spoke English, room was spacious and comfortable. Just be ready to walk a few stairs to get around, but they do have an elevator as well. Very convenient location on the edge of the old town. There's an underground parking available. Széchenyi tér is reachable in like 5 minutes on foot. I was a bit disappointed that we had to fill out the registration cards upon arrival. It hasn't happened to me anywhere in Europe for at least 5 years. The year is 2025. I recently had to stay over for one night and picked this hotel, which turned out to be a good choice. The hotel is beautifully located on top of the mountain. It's modern and they have sufficient parking space. I was checked in by a friendly member of staff. My room was spacious, had a fantastic bed and a walk-in shower. Perfectly quite location, ideal for a romantic getaway. The hotel's modern but nature friendly style perfectly fits in the foresty environment, ideal for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended if you prefer a quiet stay away from the noisy city life. The hotel is only a 10 mins drive from the city centre too, so it's easy to pop out for a romantic dinner too.

Concept from the Hotel is very interesting. There are no room numbers, rooms are named according to sports. I liked the idea. Very clean rooms. Big space in it. Very comfortable. Whole stuff very nice(i hope the owner or the manager reward them for engagement). Location is on the outskirts of the city, but the view is gorgeous. I would recommend it to everyone.

However, on this trip, strangely, from check-in to check-out, they repeatedly asked when we would pay the city taxes and parking fees. Reception was friendly, but at checkout a nasty experience for a parking space, 10 euros charge was not mentioned and was not reported bathroom was not clean, several lamps did not work and the TV only for the Hungarian, no for us, definitely next time

A high-quality place with professional and friendly staff. Apart from us, almost only foreigners stayed here, the hotel is apparently most popular with Germans. The sauna can be booked separately. The historic city center is a few minutes walk away.

The small boutique hotel was excellent and spotless. The service was very good. The workers were very helpful. They gave excellent advice for dining. The place was only 250 metres from my ETC training. I did not have to rent a car. The area was very safe. The street however has some decaying not well maintained houses. Abandoned land just across. The breakfast and the coffee was very nice.

The room was fairly good, reception was OK. There was a very good breakfast buffet. However, if you want a guaranteed parking place, you have to pay an extra fee.
