Where to stay in Szantod

Not bad, but expensive. The playhouse and the adventure pool are not connected to the hotel, so if it's cold it's unpleasant to walk through the yard. It's not designed for Hungarians and has non-Hungarian prices, they spoke English at the reception. The foreigners are aggressive compared to us, they push everywhere. My daughter waited two days for body painting, then they got it done in 3 minutes...

What we really liked was the playhouse and the water world. In the cool area, there is a waterslide complex just for kids. The water is pleasantly heated, and the jacuzzi is warm. The entire hotel is modern and newly built, and the rooms are practically furnished with a bathtub, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. The animation staff (young female animators) do their best to entertain the children...

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the cleanliness and staff deserve the highest praise. The facilities for children are excellent — the large playroom is spacious, tidy, and spotless. The hotel is quite nice but definitely not 5* hotel. We have a junior suite with a view. Room is nice but there is no dishes and they did not changed our dirt sheet in three days, they took our small towels, but did not give new. The treasure hunt for Halloween was disaster, not enough sweets and kids were so disappointed. Should be improved.

Great location, right next to Lake Balaton, parking outside the hotel and in the garage. 1. The best family-friendly hotel we’ve been to. We didn’t want to leave. Simply amazing!
